AOL will be lending a helping hand to Microsoft in the area of advertisements from now on.

Verizon bought AOL for its clever CEO and cutting edge ad-strategy. Back then, everyone estimated that Verizon’s purchase will pay off. And it seems now, that these people were right. AOL has hit a deal with Microsoft. It is a nice quid pro quo deal that will help out everyone some way or another.

So, how will the deal look, exactly? Well, according to The New York Times, from now on, AOL will take care of mobile and video ads, which appear on Skype, Xbox and other Microsoft products. It is still a question whether AOL will tend to mobile casinos ads or not.

Around the world service

The New York Times reported that AOL will babysit Microsoft products in the United States, Japan, Canada, Brazil and five other European countries. This way, Microsoft can tap into AOL’s vast experience in successful advertising without having to spend too much on working out their own tactic.

What will Microsoft do for AOL in return? They agreed that Microsoft’s search engine, Bing, will back AOL when it comes to search results and adverts. Hopefully, this won’t mean an extra amount of advertisements on mobile casino gambling sites in the future…
