This really is your final chance to make a killing on Europe’s prime football competition; you won’t see any Champions League action again until February, so make it count. Groups A-D played out their last batch of games yesterday, but the good news is there are 8 more matches from Groups E-H on the agenda, allowing you to maximize your earnings before the knockout phase rolls in after the new year.

Liverpool v Spartak Moscow – H 2/9 (1.22) D 7/1 (8.00) A 11/1 (10.00)

Groups E’s previous matchday (round 5) saw both of the encounters end in draws, so the top 3 clubs of the group could still exchange positions in tonight’s final round. Liverpool are the leaders of the group, however they’ve blundered quite a few times, recording 3 draws and only winning 2 matches in the process.

Spartak are in third position with 6 points (3 less than Liverpool), so they will still be looking for a win at Anfield, in order to qualify for the knockout phase of the competition. We’re sure the Russian side will aim to put on their best performance, but the crowd at Anfield might prove too much for them to cope with. That’s why we’re backing Jurgen Klopp’s men to seal victory with online betting sites in UK, albeit with a small goal margin.

FC Porto v AS Monaco – H 4/11 (1.36) D 9/2 (5.50) A 8/1 (9.00)

Turkish side Besiktas have ensured their place in the latter stages of the Champions League once it resumes in 2018, having collected 11 points in Group G. However, second-placed Porto and third-placed RB Leipzig are par on points, each holding 7 to their name, which makes this group one of the more exciting ones in the final round.

What’s even more interesting is that both sides will face their opponents tonight at home, giving them the upper hand. So the second-placed team could potentially qualify for the knockout phase based on other factors, if the points remain the same.

After reaching the semi-finals of Europe’s elite tournament last season, AS Monaco have gone in the completely opposite direction this campaign. They’re in last position with only 2 points, and even a victory against Porto won’t make a difference to them, so they’re most definitely out of European football in the second half of the season.

Porto will have all the advantages in the match against the Principality side, which is why we’re placing a bet on them – a match that should be an easy victory. Bet on sports in Portugal with Bet365 Sportsbook.

Shakhtar v Man City – H 13/8 (2.62) D 12/5 (3.39) A 15/8 (2.87)

Man City have comfortably ensured their progression to the next stage of the competition, having sealed 15 points from 5 rounds. However, Group F’s second best side Shakhtar have claimed 9 points until this stage, and their qualification to the knockout phase is under threat by Napoli, who are third in the group.

The Blues boss Pep Guardiola is known to be a pragmatist, so he might deploy a weaker side when they play Shakhtar away tonight, having already qualified. The Ukrainians have won both of them matches at home so far, and we’re predicting they’ll be able to stretch that to 3 games. But just in case, you might want to consider placing a wager on a combination of a win/draw in favour of the home side.
