DraftKings Partnered up with Arsenal and Liverpool to Boots UK Launch

DFS Premier League fantasy football in the UK is on the horizon after DraftKings partnered up with Arsenal and Liverpool.

DFS operator DraftKings partnered up with Arsenal and Liverpool plus Watford. The reason behind the bond between the daily fantasy site and the English top-flight clubs is to support launching UK Premier League fantasy football. With the NFL season being over and with their future in New York being in the balance, the operator seem to try to conquer new markets.

DraftKings holds a UK licence since August, 2015. They had planned to start their UK operation in last October, however, it was delayed until 2016. The reason behind this is unclear. DraftKings communicated that after their operation has started, they will cover 11 sports with their daily fantasy contests.

This includes Premier League football, golf and even e-sports, UK gambling news report. So, the fact that DraftKings partnered up with Arsenal and Liverpool can be a natural booster for them. They plan to offer a brand new playing experience for their users.

DraftKings co-founder and chief executive Jason Robins said, “The reality in the UK is that DraftKings will bring a totally new experience for sports fans, especially those of Arsenal, Liverpool and Watford. We offer our players the opportunity to test their skill at fantasy contests with the immediacy of daily play.”

He added, “Our ambition is to bring players as close to the action as possible, with all the information they need to assemble the best teams. To do that, we are partnering with some of the biggest names in football here in the UK.”
