After advertising to Dutch consumers, Redcorp SA and Bluemay Enterprises were fined again by the Dutch Gambling Authority.

Knasspelautoriteit, the Dutch Gambling Authority issued EUR 240k fines to the operators of Redslots Casino. According to gambling news, the casino was promoted by Dutch language services, targeting players from the country. It was clear that the advertised welcome bonus was intended towards them since it featured a Dutch flag too.

The Dutch Gambling authority boosted the fines

Back in October 2014, Redcorp SA and Bluemay Enterprises NV were already fined for similar reasons. However, Knasspelautoriteit started another investigation in November when the operators restarted their previous business with a different domain name. Also, the authority found it suspicious that the online casino’s payments were processed by Megaten Ltd, which ceased its services in 2006.

In July, the Dutch Gambling Authority announced that they will raise the fines for unauthorized online gambling services. The minimum fine was changed from EUR 50K to EUR 150k, while the maximum fine was set at EUR 810k. The authority takes action against casino sites with Dutch language option and for explicit Dutch-focused advertising.
