With the year almost over, now is a great time to check out a few dream UFC fights in 2018 that you may be able to bet on with Paddy Power Sportsbook.

2017 has been a fantastic year for MMA. We’ve seen belts change hands, young fighters emerge as contenders, and a number of potential fight of the year contenders. The year is now almost over, and there are a few dream fights that may actually get scheduled for next year.

None of the bouts we’ll list here are official, but some of the fights can already be wagered on with one of the best online sportsbooks in the UK. Let’s take a look at a few dream UFC fights in 2018 that might go down.

Bet on McGregor vs. Ferguson

It should come as no surprise that one dream fight that could take place next year involves the sport of MMA’s biggest star. Conor McGregor has not competed in MMA since November of last year, and according to Dana White his next fight will come against Tony Ferguson.

Ferguson is coming off a recent win over Kevin Lee to capture the UFC interim lightweight championship. He’s been calling out Conor for weeks now and some analysts feel he’ll get the fight sometime in the first quarter of next year. According to Paddy Power Sportsbook, he’s the underdog in this fight with odds to win of 5/4.

McGregor was made to look human against Floyd Mayweather in his most recent fight, but he’s without a doubt one of the most skilled MMA fighters in the world and comes into this bout as the favorite with odds of 4/7 to beat Ferguson.

Bet on Velasquez vs. Miocic

The UFC heavyweight division is extremely exciting right now, although one of the best fighters here has been sitting on the sidelines for more than a year. If he can return soon, one of the dream UFC fights in 2018 we might finally see is between Cain Velasquez and Stipe Miocic.

Miocic won the heavyweight championship in May of 2016 and has successfully defended the belt twice. It’s unclear exactly who he will take on next, although if Velasquez states he will return soon it’s likely that Stipe would wait for that fight.

Velasquez was one of the scariest and most devastating fights in the history of the heavyweight division, but injuries have plagued him for years. The odds would likely be close in a match against Miocic, and he would make UK gambling news
if he could come back and earn the belt one more time.

Bet on Johnson vs. Garbrandt

Perhaps the most exciting dream UFC fight in 2018 that fans might be treated to is between Demetrious Johnson and Cody Garbrandt.

DJ is now seen as the greatest fighter of all time after his record breaking 11th title defense. He has an incredibly well-rounded skillset and could likely compete with the best fighters at bantamweight if he were to move up.

Garbrandt is still very young in his MMA career and has a major fight against TJ Dillashaw coming up on the horizon. If he wins this fight might be more likely than ever, but that’s a big if.
