Currently playing with SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Gusev is only twenty-five years old, but is at the top of the International Ice Hockey Federation’s list. Born in Moscow, Russia, the young hockey player recently got drafted into the Tampa Bay Lightning, but in the end, signed another two-year contract with the KHL. During 57games in the 2016/2017 season, Gusev managed to score 24 goals and 47 assists! Impressive, right?

Betting on ice hockey has never been easier when Nikita Kucherov is playing!

Right after Gusev comes his buddy, the 24-year-old Kucherov, playing in the Tampa Bay Lightning. He started shooting goals in the CSKA Moscow’s MHL team, Russia’s best junior hockey league, and even though his first year there, he racked up 29 goals and 54 points in 53 games. Now, that is something to consider when you head to Paddy Power to bet on Tampa Bay! His winning streak didn’t stop at the young age of 16, either: the 2016/2017 season was one to be remembered for him, with 40 goals, 45 assists and 85 points in 74 games.

William Nylander

Born in Canada, this Swedish pro ice hockey player is something else! Currently, he plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. The 21-year-old played his first professional game in 2013, where he actually played alongside his father, Michael Nylander. William Nylander’s senior team debut at the 2017 IIHF World Championship, where the Swedish team won gold. He lead his team in scoring with 14 points in 10 games and was named tournament MVP. Last season, he raked in 22 goals and 39 assists for 61 points – we think that these statistics make ice hockey betting pretty easy.

The 28 year-old French-Polish ice hockey player is a free agent right now – he used to play for the CSKA Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League. At the start of his career and the age of 17, he moved from France to the United States to play junior hockey for the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In 2006–07 with the Tornado, Da Costa had 23 goals and 40 points in 50 games. His pro debut was in 2010/2011, leading the team by scoring 14 goals and 45 points in 33 games. In the 2016/2017 regular season, he played 24 games with the KHL and scored 9 goals, with 20 points.
