Mohegan Sun Pocono is a gaming and entertainment facility located on a 400-acre site in Plains Township, Pennsylvania.

45 million visitors pass through Incheon International Airport very year

MTG A announced that this deal represents the future of a gateway entertainment city in South Korea. The combined hotel-casino resort which will be uniquely connected to a fixed-base private aviation operation (FBO) will provide world-class entertainment and hospitality attractions. The proposed resort would be developed, built and operated on the grounds of Incheon International Airport. The airport accommodates over 45 million visitors every year.

According to the terms of the MOU, the MTGA and IIAC will be negotiating the conceptual agreement to develop a luxury casino complete with integrated entertainment on 800 acres of land, which is owned by IIAC. The MOU gave a run-down of a system for a conceptual agreement on the plan. It is hoped by all parties that the project will be finalized, on paper, by June 30, 2015.

The outlook on the work proposal should be given by December 2015. Incheon Airport, which is the second in the world in term of cargo traffic, is also set to be one of the world's best when the integrated hotel-casino resort will be finished. It will become a focal point in the expanding entertainment, tourism and hospitality industry in South Korea.

MTGA thrilled to be in partnership with IICA

President of MTGA, Bobby Soper, said of the project that the company was content to reach such an agreement with Incheon International Airport Corporation. It proves that MTGA is capable of developing and managing world-class structures, at the highest level. MTGA will be advertising the Mohegan Sun brand, by centering on its first class hospitality for a memorable guest experience.

Once the resort is finished, Incheon Airport is set to be the world’s best
MTGA will also allow South Korea to have a new, global customer base at a “one-of-a kind, must-visit destination”. MTGA said it highly respected Incheon Airport, which has been rated first on Airport Service Quality Service conducted by ACI, ten years in a row. MTGA is also thrilled to be working with Mr. Park Wan-su, the President and CEO of Incheon International Airport Corporation, in order to allow construction, based on the forces of both the IIAC and the MTGA.

Park Wan-su said "This project is an important step in Incheon Airport's continued efforts to become a global mega-hub airport, delivering passengers the highest quality service and serving as the best airport in the world in all aspects of our operations. It was critical to identify the right partner for this historic development and Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority's performance track record as a developer, operator and ability to attract world-class entertainers speaks for itself".

Mohegan Sun will work with Miura Holdings Asia, which is a part of the development team. The latter is a mufti-faceted company which provides gaming, as well as hotel and food & beverage activities in the United States and Asia. If the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism grants MTGA and IICA a gaming license under South Korean gambling laws, then the project will be nearer to becoming a reality.

MTGA, which has over 40,000 employees also manages Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City and has been granted the exclusive authority to conduct and regulate gaming activities on the existing reservation of the Mohegan Tribe in Connecticut, USA.
