Punters will have a great weekend in the Spanish top flight as round 26 is set to feature some exciting clashes.

The mid-week was marked with games in the Copa del Rey which saw the likes of Barcelona square off against Villareal away and also Espanyol play Athletic Bilbao at home. Some sides might therefore suffer from fatigue once the LilGa matches come around for the weekend.

Athletic Bilbao don’t have a chance against Real Madrid
Sevilla favorites against La Coruna
Granada face a test against Malaga at home

Spanish gambling news reports Deportivo La Coruna will go head to head with Sevilla at home in what should be a great match to watch for many fans. Real Madrid, who are the current league leaders, will play against Athletic Bilbao away however the former side might be tired after participating in the Cup games during the week. Elche and Almeria will also play one another, while Granada will host Malaga on Saturday night.

Deportivo La Coruna vs Sevilla and Athletic Bilbao vs Real Madrid

Deportivo currently sit in 15th spot in the league and they have so far accumulated a total of 25 points. Their form seems somewhat uncertain as they recorded 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw in the last 5 games. While playing on their own ground they won on 4 occasions whereas the other games ended in 3 draws and 6 losses. Their odds are not that great 3.50 (5/2) against their upcoming opponents Sevilla.

The Andalusian side currently find themselves in 5th with a total of 46 points, which isn’t that bad considering the squad they operate with this season. Their form has not been great in recent times as they notched 3 losses, 1 win and 1 draw in the last 5 games. While playing on the road they recorded 5 wins, 0 draws and 7 losses. Nevertheless, Bet365 favors them to win 2.15 (8/7) the next game. A tie between them stands at an unlikely 3.40 (12/5).

Athletic Bilbao sit all the way down in 10th spot with 30 points, stats that are pretty bad for a team that used to be a big side in Spanish football several years ago. In the last 5 encounters they racked up 1 draw, 1 loss and a cool 3 wins, however their home results are rather disappointing (4 wins, 3 draws and 5 losses). These stats won’t work in their favor as they prepare to face the current Champions League winners and league leaders Real Madrid.

Los Blancos sit in 1st place on the table as they boast an incredible 61 points, with second-placed rivals Barcelona having a total of 59 points. The club form the capital are the favorites to lift the title this season and they have recorded a massive 10 wins while playing on the road, where as the rest of the games ended in 3 losses. Their form while playing away has seen them claim 3 wins and 2 losses over the last 5 games, however mobile betting sites favor them to win 1.44 (4/9). A tie on the other hand stands at 4.75 (15/4), an event that doesn’t seem likely.

Elche vs Almeria and Granada vs Malaga

Elche have experienced a disappointing season so far having collected only 24 points so far which granted them 17th place in the league. Their form is unstable (2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses in the last 5 games), so they are not considered to be a threatening side to most of the teams in La Liga. At home they recorded only 3 wins while the other encounters ended in 3 draws and 7 losses.

Luckily for them they will next square off against Almeria who sit one position above them at the moment. Over the course of the last 5 matches they notched 1 loss, 2 draws and 2 wins, while playing on the road has seen them win an impressive 5 times, with the other games resulting in 1 draw and 7 losses. Bet365 favors the home side 2.15 (8/7), however realistically looking Almeria might have better chances to win, despite their odds being 3.60 (13/5).

Granada will face a challenging test as the gear up to battle Malaga at home. The hosts find themselves in a low 19th position on the table claiming only 19 points so far from 25 games. At home they have blundered on many occasions, with 6 games being draws and others resulting in 2 wins and 4 losses. Online sportsbooks in Spain do not have high hopes 2.90 (19/10) for them against their upcoming opponents.

Malaga on the other hand sit in 7th position, however they are not pleased with this standing as a few seasons ago they used to compete in the Champions League and compete for big trophies. So far this year they have win 5 times while playing on the road, however they have also lost on 5 occasions as well, with the other matches ending in 2 draws. Bet365 has therefore set their chances at 2.60 (8/5), with the draw being 3.10 (21/10).
