The Eastern and Western Conference Championship games are still some time away, but our NBA betting experts are back to predict who will win.

The 2017 NBA playoffs are set to begin in April, and a number of top teams have already emerged as potential champions. Before the finals though, two teams will be named the Conference Champions, let’s take a look at some of the betting favorites.

Western Conference

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Golden State Warriors are the betting favorites to win the Western Conference this year. The Warriors are the top team in the entire NBA right now with an impressive record of 35-6.

The team doesn’t look close to slowing down anytime soon. Masterful performances from Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant have helped the team reach new heights. Intertops lists the Warriors odds to win the Western Conference at 1.33. Our NBA betting experts, as well as most online sportsbooks in the US also predict they will win the NBA Championship this year.

There is certainly a big gap between the Warriors and every other team. The only other team remotely close are the San Antonio Spurs, whose odds to win the Western Conference are set at 6.00. They too are one of the best teams in the NBA with a current record of 31-9.

Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili have both been instrumental to the team’s success. Despite coming in as a considerable betting underdog to the Warriors, the Spurs have a real shot at winning the Western Conference this year.

Eastern Conference

There are many that claim the Eastern Conference is superior to the Western Conference. That is certainly debatable, but there’s no denying there are some solid teams in the East. Leading the betting odds to win the Eastern Conference are the Cleveland Cavaliers, who won the Championship last year in a thrilling come from behind victory over the Warriors.

You can’t mention the Cavs without talking about Lebron James. The 32-year-old Ohio native is one of the best NBA players in history, and will look to build on the momentum that the team made last year. The Cavaliers currently hold the best record in the Eastern Conference at 29-11, and our NBA betting experts agree with their 1.33 odds set by Intertops to win this year.

As is the case with the Western Conference, there is a massive discrepancy between the top team and all the others in the Eastern Conference. Behind the Cavaliers are the Toronto Raptors, who are 27-13 this season with impressive victories over New York Knicks and Boston Celtics.

Canada’s most successful NBA team has a number of star players include DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. If they manage to win the Eastern Conference, the Raptors would surely make US gambling news. Their odds to win this year are currently set at 9.00.

All four of these teams have solid chances to win their respective divisions, although the Warriors and Cavaliers are by in large the betting favorites.

A few betting underdogs that could be worth the risk are the Atlanta Hawks, with odds of 21.00, and the Chicago Bulls, with odds of 26.00.
