A massive event is headed to Brazil in just over a month, and members of BetVictor can already place their bet on UFC 212.

Arguably Brazil’s most decorated MMA fighter will be making his return to the octagon on June 3rd at UFC 212. Jose Aldo will be looking for his second straight win, but is taking on one of his toughest challenges to date in interim champion Max Holloway.

The betting lines for the main and co-main event are now available, and some great odds are available to make money. Let’s take a look at the betting favorites and underdogs.

Bet on Jose Aldo vs. Max Holloway

For nearly a decade, Jose Aldo was considered to be one of the pound-for-pound best fighters in the world. He captured the WEC featherweight title in November of 2009, and was named the UFC champion 2011. Aldo defended this title 8 times until he faced Conor McGregor in December of 2015.

UFC 212 Main Card

  • Jose Aldo vs. Max Holloway
  • Anderson Silva vs. TBA
  • Claudia Gadelha vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz
  • Erick Silva vs. Yancy Medeiros
  • Paulo Henrique Costa vs. Oluwale Bamgbose

McGregor famously knocked Aldo out just 13 seconds into their fight, and some MMA betting experts began to ponder whether the Brazilian veteran would hang up the gloves. 7 months after his loss, he made his comeback by dominating Frankie Edgar for the title.

Max Holloway went 3-3 in the UFC from 2012 to 2014. After a tough loss to Conor McGregor, Holloway turned a corner in his career and rattled off 10 straight victories, most recently defeating Anthony Pettis by TKO for the interim featherweight belt. Max is one of the craftiest fighters in the UFC right now, and has a real shot at making UK gambling news with a victory over Aldo.

This fight is likely the best bet on UFC 212. Aside from the McGregor fight, Jose Aldo has looked nearly unstoppable in the UFC. He has some of the best striking in MMA, effortlessly combining leg kicks with sharp punches. His experience has likely made him the MMA betting favorite here with odds of 8/11, according to BetVictor. Max Holloway holds one of the longest winning streaks in the UFC, but is the slight underdog coming into this fight with odds of 11/10.

Bet on Claudia Gadelha vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz

Two fighters desperate for another shot at the strawwweight title will also be facing off at UFC 212, both Claudia Gadelha and Karolina Kowalkiewicz have only lost to Joanna Jedrzejczyk in their career, and have a real shot at becoming a top contender with a win here.

Claudia Gadelha was seen as the best strawweight fighter in the world for a number of years. She lost a controversial decision to Joanna in her second UFC fight, and earned another crack at the champ this past July, losing again by decision. In November, Claudia fought and defeated Cortney Casey by a dominant unanimous decision.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz was 10-0 when she took on Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Though she had some impressive victories over fighters like Randa Markos and Rose Namajunas, nearly all online sportsbooks in the UK listed her as a massive betting underdog. She proved she can hang with the elite at 125 pounds, cracking the champ throughout the fight with hard shots.

Claudia Gadelha has one of the most well-rounded games in women’s MMA right now, and is seen as the considerable MMA betting favorite heading into this fight. If you want to bet on UFC 212 and feel like going with an underdog, a bet on Karolina Kowalkiewicz might be your best option. She has some great odds to cash out at 9/4.
