If found guilty, the tennis players arrested could face up to four years in prison.

Khalid Ali, the secretary general of betting integrity group ESSA, told media in a statement that there is “concern at the continuing integrity issues within the sport,” and ESSA “welcomed the more proactive approach to combating match-fixing being displayed by the sport's governing authorities”.
