Sport Integrity Monitor will provide real-time analysis in order to assist the Romanian Football Federation’s campaign for uncorrupted sports betting in Romania.

The Romanian Football Federation (Federația Română de Fotbal) appointed Sport Integrity Monitor to preside over football related betting activities. According to UK gambling news, Sport Integrity Monitor is authorized to use their monitoring services to prevent and investigate suspicions occurrences. Providing “integrity solutions to sports governing bodies and rights holders,” Sport Integrity Monitor will incorporate “comprehensive live and historic sports and betting data” in order to unveil irregularities across the betting market.

Protecting the integrity of Romanian Football

This partnership is only one element of the Romanian Football Federation’s ‘Clean Football’ campaign. The governing body of Romanian football aims to fight match-fixing for “a future in which players, fans and everyone involved in the sport are protected.” President of the Romanian Football Federation, Răzvan Burleanu said that currently this is their main goal. “Maintaining the integrity of our football competitions and preventing any potential incidences […] is a top priority,” stated Burleanu .

Sport Integrity Monitor is aware of the difficult situation of governing bodies and organizers. Those who are officially involved in sports are constantly under the pressure of the media, fans and authorities. During their 15 years in betting, Sport Integrity Monitor developed an effective system to detect corruption and manipulation. Their head office is located in the United Kingdom, with a 24-hour monitoring center is in Estonia. Besides monitoring, they provide many related services, including legal help.

Fair and clean sports betting in Romania

‘‘We are delighted to announce our integrity partnership with the Romanian Football Federation,
” confirmed the partnership Mark Locke, CEO of Sports Integrity Monitor. Locke also highlighted the central importance of “integrity and the prevention of match-fixing.” The current situation of live and internet betting in Romania is rather chaotic. As we reported, the National Office for Gambling in Romania blacklisted numerous widely-known operators such as Bet365 and bwin.party.
