GamingZion’s week 7 NFL betting guide part 1 is here to preview two of the important games taking place this Sunday.

Week 7 of the NFL is already here, and a number of favorites and underdogs have already emerged. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest matches.

New England Patriots vs. Pittsburg Steelers

Sunday night’s game between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburg Steelers is likely the most anticipated game of this week. Both teams are at the top of their divisions, and are considered by many online sportsbooks in the US to be favorites to win the 2016 Super Bowl (although fading the public Super Bowl is always an option).

Week 7 Betting Lines
  • New England Patriots: -300
  • Pittsburg Steelers: +250
  • Minnesota Vikings: -145
  • Philadelphia Eagles: +125
The Patriots have been tremendous this year. Their record is 5-1 with notable wins over the Texans and Bengals. The return of Tom Brady during week 5 showed that he still has plenty left in the tank, and he followed that win with a 35-17 victory over the Bengals. Five more wins will give Brady the most wins in NFL history as a quarterback. New England is the -300 favorite heading into this game according to GTBets and most week 7 NFL betting experts.

Pittsburg has played great over the first six weeks of the 2016 season as well. They showed some holes in their game in losses against the Eagles and Dolphins, but are still the leaders of the AFC North division. They’re undefeated at home, a streak that will be put to the test this Sunday vs. the Patriots. The Steelers’ odds to win are currently +250.

Most analysts agree with the bookies on this one. The Patriots are firing on all cylinders this season, and with Tom Brady back, they may be unstoppable. The last time these two teams played was at the 2015 Kickoff Game which they won 28-21. The Steelers are a solid team even without Ben Roethlisberger (who is currently injured) but seem unlikely to be able to stop the tremendous pressure of New England’s offense.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Before the Patriots and Steelers face off on Sunday night, two fan-favorite teams with a lot to prove will play. The Vikings and Eagles have both played admirably this season, but it’s Minnesota that most week 7 NFL betting fans are putting money on.

Sam Bradford will be making his first trip back to Philly since they made US gambling news by trading him to Minnesota. That turned out to be a solid deal for the Vikings thus far, as they are 5-0 and the current leaders of the NFC North. It’s been nearly two weeks since Minnesota’s last game against the Texans in which they blasted through their notorious defense to win 31-13. Their GTBets odds to win against the Eagles are -145.

The Eagles kicked off the 2016 season impressively with three straight wins. Close back to back losses have since put them third in the NFC East, and a win on Sunday is crucial for their chances of a Super Bowl win moving forward. Eagles’ coach Doug Pederson told the media he isn’t worried if Sam Bradford knows their plays, telling the media, “One guy has my entire playbook, he’s got to worry about getting himself ready to play, too.” Philadelphia’s odds to win are +125.

The big talk surrounding this game is how Bradford will respond to playing against his former team. The Eagles certainly don’t seem concerned, but a win here is very important for them moving forward.
