Unibet to Apply for a License in Romania

Unibet is constantly working in order to resolve their situation in Romania and to acquire a license in the country

Despite the country’s new regulations, Unibet is not planning to leave the country. The renowned betting company released a statement in which they ensured their audience that Unibet will apply for a Romanian license. However, it might take some time as Unibet is “still analyzing the license requirements and conditions.”

The Romanian gambling laws are currently undergoing some severe changes. Based on gambling news, operators will need a domestic license in order to remain active in Romania. “Unibet is in the process of going ahead with its application for a Romanian license,” stated the company. Hopefully, players can enjoy their games again in the foreseeable future.
