Pep Guardiola is a Cowardly Dog and a Zero – Says Super Agent Mino Raiola

Man City boss Pep Guardiola has come under attack by super agent Mino Raiola for his treatment of his client Zlatan Ibrahimovic during his time with Barcelona in the 2009/10 season. The Italian football agent has issued strong words towards the Catalan manager, labelling him a "great manager" but a poor person who lacks courage, according to online sportsbook news.

Ibrahimovic detailed the strained relationship with Guardiola is best chronicled in his 2011 book "I Am Zlatan" where he likens himself to a Ferrari, but was "being driven like a Fiat" by the former Barcelona manager, during their one and only season together at the Nou Camp.

"As a manager Guardiola is great, but as a human he's a zero!" said the 50-year-old Raoila. "He said we had to talk to him if we had any complaints, but then he stopped playing Zlatan and ignored him. He didn't even greet him. Guardiola is a classic priest: Do what I say, don't do what I do. I advised Zlatan to go to work in a Ferrari and to park it in his spot. Guardiola is a cowardly dog.”

The Italian agent also adds that right before the 2011 Champions League final, Barcelona's left-back Maxwell – one of his clients – was removed entirely from the list of available players for the game by Guardiola; not being even featured on the substitutes bench.

"He pulled the same trick on Maxwell, who is a great guy. I went to London for the Champions League final and saw in the stadium that he wasn't on the list. So that f---king Guardiola wanted to let (Eric) Abidal make his re-entry (after recovering from liver cancer). That was fine of course, and you can see why, but be honest about it."
