Canadian Online Gambling Creates OpenBet-Shuffle Master Partnership

OpenBet online software provider and Shuffle Master global gaming supplier entered an agreement to deliver their content to Canadian lotteries

OpenBet, the respected online gambling software provider, whose clients include Paddy Power and William Hill has teamed up with Shuffle Master, the manufacture of automatic shuffling machines and gaming tables.

The partnership was created, according to the latest press release, via the Internet License Agreement in accordance with the Canadian gambling laws and with the intent of providing services to the Canadian lottery.

The deal will also ensure that licensed online casinos in Canada will have the option of using Shuffle Master’s proprietary table games. So far the joint ventures has already attracted clients which include a number of online gaming establishments, the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and Loto-Quebec.

Shuffle Master CEO, Gavin Isaacs commented: “Given the growing popularity of online gaming in Canada, offering our popular brands to this key market through OpenBet’s platform is a natural next step for Shuffle Master and part of our strategy to leverage our intellectual property online.”

He went on to add: “This agreement provides us with an exciting distribution channel for our specialty games and is further affirmation of our belief that this will be an important segment for our Company. We are very pleased that we are going to be working with OpenBet.”

The terms of the agreement also stipulate that OpenBet will be delivering licensed online games based on Shuffle Master’s extremely popular land-based game titles including Three Card Poker, Casino War and the Fortune Pai Gow Poker side bet.

Max Francis, OpenBet’s Commercial Partner Manager, told Canada gambling news: “The agreement with Shuffle Master allows us to deliver even more content to the Canadian lottery market as their enabling technology platform and e-casino provider.”

Francis finished off by saying: “OpenBet partners with the market’s top suppliers to ensure that it gives customers the very best offering. It has worked closely with the Canadian Lotteries to deliver successful legalized online gaming sites and it is great to be able to offer them more premium content.”
