Pala Interactive Online Poker Plans Dropped Due to PokerStars Move

Pala Interactive has announced not to release their online poker service in New Jersey because PokerStars is expected to be approved.

Pala Interactive has decided not to compete against PokerStars at providing mobile casino gambling services in New Jersey because of the expected approval of the popular poker site. In November, Pala became the first tribe to launch an online casino.

They also said that in the beginning of 2015 they would launch their new internet poker website in the Northeastern state. However they have decided to drop these plans and not expand their online market in the region, instead they will seek to break into the markets of other states.

Pala staff was very optimistic last November

The gambling arm of California's Pala Band of Mission Indians Native American tribe, Pala Intereactive, has gone online in New Jersey in partnership with Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel & Spa. The affiliate programme has been quickly accepted by the regulatory body so they launched Pala Casino website.

US gambling news report what Jim Ryan, Pala boss, has said in November, when asked why he thinks they will be successful in the region. “There are barriers to entry as in any regulated environment and requirements will be different (for different markets). The DGE is very protective of the players but also very commercially-minded and does all it can to provide a top working environment for operators.”
