This is the 60th anniversary of the Norwegian music competition. The first edition was held in 1960. 2020 Melodi Grand Prix is the 58th edition of the music competition. In the past few years, MGP finished within one evening. On the contrary, this year there are a total of 25 participants and songs.
However, we think you should bet on the 2020 Melodi Grand Prix. It has five preliminaries and a final. In each preliminary round, four artists from a part of Norway take part. Each region will have its own semi-final. Moreover, artists and songwriters from that region will compete for a place in the final. Don’t forget to regularly check on online sportsbook news in Norway until February 15, to stay updated on the topic.

Norway: Will Anna Jaeger win the 2020 Melodi Grand Prix?
Anna Jaeger played in rock bands. She was a fixture of the night club scene in Virginia. However, Anna may take a step closer to a bigger stage on Saturday night. That’s because she’s the most streamed act of Semi-Final 2 of 2020 Melodi Grand Prix on Spotify. Online sportsbook sites in Norway wrote that Jaeger’s interstellar electropop anthem “How About Mars” has racked up 12,277 streams since release. That puts her some way adrift of the most streamed songs last week. Lisa Borud and eventual winner Raylee had both passed 30,000 streams by last Friday. After checking 1xBET sportsbook odds on participants, we can guess that Anna’s closest competitor looks to be Rein Alexander. His optimistic track “One Last Time” has been streamed 10,135 times since release.
Norway: Rein Alexander wins Semi-final 2 of MGP 2020
The focus of this year’s MGP will be on artists from all over the country. Obviously, every part of Norway will get their show. The last show had 4 songs representing Eastern Norway. The winner of the two duels Rein Alexander and Kim Wigaard & Maria Mohn battled it out in a gold duel.
The second Semi-final of the 2020 Melodi Grand Prix took place in Norway. We saw that four acts performed live, and one song qualified to the final: Rein Alexander with “One Last Time”.
