  • 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is held next weekend, 22-24 October
  • It will be the second race at the Misano World Circuit this season
  • The winner of the previous race here, Francesco Bagnaia is in the favorites again

In the American Grand Prix Marc Marquez finally managed to win another race in 2021. But his victory didn’t affect the overall standings, where still Fabio Quartararo leads. There are only three more races left from this season, so the final result here can be crucial for the top riders. Like Francesco Bagnaia who won the San Marino GP last month here and one of the favorites in the 2021 MotoGP Italian race predictions again.

This will be only the second edition of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix after its debut last season. It is held in the same circuit as the San Marino Grand Prix last month, at the Misano World Circuit. Maverick Vinales won the first event here last year still riding for Yamaha.  But he doesn’t have too many chances of winning with his new team, Aprilia now. Unlike Marc Marquez who won the previous race at the Circuit of the Americas and moved to the seventh place in the championship. Meanwhile Francesco Bagnaia crossed the finish line first in the San Marino Grand Prix at this circuit four weeks ago, and will have another opportunity to get the win.

2021 MotoGP Italian Race Predictions Mention Marquez and Bagnaia In Favorites

Marc Marquez finished fourth in the race here in September. But following his latest victory in the US, online sportsbooks in Italy offer the smallest odds, 2.15 for his win. The 6-time MotoGP champion struggled in the first half of the season to get back to his old form. But now the Spanish rider seems to have found his speed again. As he finished second, fourth and first in the last three races. Though Marquez got only his second win of the season in America, he can give another great performance in Italy next weekend.

Just like the home favorite, Francesco Bagnaia who won the race here four weeks ago. The Ducati rider is currently in second place in the championship, 52 points behind the leader Quartararo. It is a massive deficit which might prove to be too much for the Italian. But with another win at Misano, he can still have some hope of catching the French. Bagnaia finished third in the American race, which was his seventh podium finish in the season. The 24-year-old loves this Italian circuit and will aim to get the maximum points here. His odds to do so are 3.92 in the 2021 MotoGP Italian race predictions.

Quartararo, Rins and The Others

Fabio Quartararo is on his way to win his first MotoGP title after leading the championship with a massive difference. He doesn’t even need to win the next race, just focus on finishing it in a good position. But surely the young Yamaha rider wants to stand on the top of the podium again. Like he has already done it five times this season. He also got five podium finishes including the last two races in Italy and in the US. So it looks like Quartararo has learnt how to deal with pressure. He gives a confident and well-balanced performance all this year. Plus he is very fast, making him another favorite to win at Misano. With online gambling sites in Italy offering the odds of 4.48 for his victory.

Alex Rins finished fourth in the last race with a good ride. But he is still only in 12th place in the overall standings. The Suzuki rider has been having a very mixed season so far. With only one podium finish in Silverstone and four retirements. After finishing third last season, this is a disappointing year for the Spanish. But he can ride with more risks now which might earn him the first victory of the season. While his teammate, Joan Mir is in a much better position after standing in third place on the table. The defending champion is 79 points behind Quartararo so with no chance now to defend his title. But he can still finish on the podium at the end of the season. And even get a win here with a good performance. His odds to do so are 18.00 on 22Bet.
