Aristocrat, a renowned Australian land-based gambling content provider, announced a deal with Scioto Downs Casino and Racetrack in Ohio. The agreement will see Aristocrat supply its online virtual casino product nLive to the American casino. The initial conditions of the deal stipulate that the product will be a free-to-play app at first.
In order to produce the application, Aristocrat will team up with MTR Gaming Group (the owners behind Scioto Casino), which already operates under American gambling laws. Aristocrat has already created several applications together with MTR including those for The Columbus (a racetrack casino in Ohio), Maryland Live! (casino in Hanover) as well as Maryland and Island Resort and Casino in Harris.
The new deal will allow the Scioto Downs Casino and Racetrack online case to be linked to the land-based casino thanks to Arisctocrat’s nLiveLink system. Such technology could grow very useful once legalization reaches online casinos in United States.
President and CEO of MTR Gaming Group, Jeff Dahl told the media: “After conducting extensive research of all of the available options, we chose Aristocrat’s nLive technology because its open architecture will easily replicate our brick-and-mortar facility.”
He went on to add: ”A robust online presence is critical for the company’s long-term business strategy. Aristocrat’s solution has very strong content, such as skill-based games, table games and poker, and the platform is designed to extend our individual brand.”
Aristocrat VP of system sales and marketing, Kelly Shaw, told United States gambling news: “Data shows that operators who launch a free-play site establish new customer relationships in a new online demographic, which can be translated to a new revenue stream when online gaming is legalized.”
He continued: “MTR Gaming Group is investing in our solution with this vision in mind. Other suppliers are creating online solutions to compete with operators, but Aristocrat’s innovative nLive is a simple, turnkey solution that empowers operators to take their brand to players online.”
He finished off by saying: “Simply, nLive helps properties extend their bricks and mortar experience and the open architecture of the platform enables the operator to replicate the best games experience for their players.”
