The world leading online casino features Skrill 1-Tap mobile payment method.

UK online payment specialist Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers, has signed a deal with leading online gambling operator Bet365 to provide a mobile-based payment solution called Skrill 1-Tap.

Skrill 1-Tap allows Bet365 customers to make payments by depositing in ‘one tap’ on any mobile device, rather than having to re-enter login details and credit card information.

When customers wish to make a payment via Skrill to Bet365 for the first time, they have to enter their usual payment information. They are required to confirm that they use Skrill 1-Tap for future purchases. Skrill 1-Tap is then also enabled for future payments towards Bet365 to Play online casino in UK.

The payment solution, fully compliant with the British gambling laws, is to be launched across all Bet365 platforms such as desktop, mobile and tablet, with the technology integrated into Bet365’s standalone apps for mobile casinos in UK compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android.

Skrill holds over 25 million accounts globally and enables over 100 payment options in over 200 countries in 41 different currencies. Skrill joined US-based e-commerce platform operator Demandware in July 2012.

Skrill Chief Product Officer, David Roe revealed: “At Skrill, we are committed to making payments simple. With mobile gambling forecasted to reach $ 4.8 billion globally by 2013, bet365 are ahead of the game with Skrill 1-Tap, capturing this rapidly growing sector and making the most of this emerging trend by offering frictionless, mobile-friendly payments.”

Roe went on saying: “With Skrill 1-Tap now live on the world’s largest online betting company, and with several more operators scheduled to go live in the next few weeks, we are excited by the potential of a mobile payments solution that offers simplicity and convenience.”

Roe added: “We believe that this is the key to a truly mobile experience and are looking forward to launching Skrill 1-Tap with more providers over the coming weeks.”
