Games in the German top flight provide punters with amazing betting opportunities that can’t be matches anywhere else.

The Bundesliga features 18 sides that all possess great quality, although in recent times the level of football has shifted almost entirely to one team, Bayern Munich. They are on course to clinch their 3rd consecutive league title and they maintain a squad that can keep on winning for years. Nevertheless, fans and betting players can still enjoy all the great action of the Bundesliga.

• Hamburg face a tough test against Augsburg
• BVB will square off against Frankfurt
• Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg will clash

Gambling news report that 2011 and 2012 German league champions Dortmund will square off against Frankfurt at home where they will be aiming to win the match. Augsburg will play Hamburg away, while Koln will host Leverkusen on Saturday afternoon. The last encounter on the agenda is one between Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg, which will undoubtedly be a superb game.

Dortmund vs Frankfurt and Hamburg vs Augsburg

So far Dortmund have experience a horrendous season. They used to compete for the biggest trophies both domestically and in Europe, while now they find themselves in 9th position with only 36 points to their name. Recently, their charismatic manager Jürgen Klopp announced that he will be leaving his post as the head after almost 7 years in charge of BVB. Despite the bad news, Die Schwarzgelben hope to win against Frankfurt, with odds being 1.33 (1/3).

The visiting side on the other hand are heavy outsiders for this match 9.00 (8/1), due to their negative performances while playing on the road. They have clinched only 2 wins on away games, while the other encounters ended in 4 draws and a great 8 losses. These results combined with their home games enabled them to reach 10th spot in the league, one behind their upcoming opponents. A tie does not seem to be on the cards as well 5.25 (17/4).

Hamburg will play Augsburg at home this weekend, but judging by their results so far this season, they are set to experience a rather difficult game. The Dinosaurier (Dinosaurs) are the worst team in the Bundesliga. Up until now they have accumulated only 25 points and they will probably be relegated to the second division if they don’t come up with an effective plan soon. Their record at home stands at 4 wins, 4 draws and 6 losses.

Stieber Hamburg score

Augsburg are in a different situation, as they are fighting to enter the top 5 positions on the table. They were decent and showed promise at some earlier stages, but now over the last 5 encounters they notched some lackluster results (3 losses, 1 draw and 1 win). Online sportsbooks in Germany have decided to award them slightly better chances than Hamburg, their odds for winning are 2.60 (8/5), while the visiting side are underdogs with 2.70 (17/10).

Koln vs Leverkusen and Moenchengladbach vs Wolfsburg

Koln will play Bayer Leverkusen at home in what should be an exciting game for many sports fans. The hosts occupy 12th spot on the table with 34 points to their name. Although they have devoted and fervent supporters, they weren’t able to use that to their own advantage, when playing at home. They have blundered on quite a few occasions, which saw them draw 7 times while the rest of the games ended in 4 losses.

Leverkusen are third on the chart with 54 points. The only teams that they cannot reach are the unstoppable Bayern and Wolfsburg, who are in second. What will greatly serve their confidence is the fact that they maintain an impeccable form. Leverkusen have won 7 straight games, so the will be looking to extend that remarkable run. Therefore it makes sense that the odds for them winning are that of a favorite 1.75 (3/4), while the hosts Koln are outsiders 4.75 (15/4) on their own turf.

Monchengladbach will go head to head with Wolfsburg this Sunday at 17:30 CET. This is one game that punters and lovers of German football will not want to miss. Monchengladbach sit in 4th spot, after recently losing out on the 3rd place by way of Bayer Leverkusen. They had a great winning streak, but stumbled last weekend when they tied against Frankfurt away. Despite this, mobile sports betting providers believe they can pull off a win against the Wolves.

Wolfsburg are in second behind leaders and imminent champions Bayern Munich. They have so far accumulated a total of 61 points and were it not for Die Rotten, they would have surely been top of the league. mobile betting sites have assigned them odds of 2.88 (15/8), while a win for the hosts stands at a more likely 2.40 (7/5). A tie 3.50 (5/2) may also be on the cards, considering that the hosts drew last week.
