The Desert Canyon women’s golf event is organized by Cactus Tour and will take place this week in Arizona, in the US. The tournament hasn’t been postponed and gives the opportunity to professional and very skilled amateur players to compete. In the Desert Canyon 2020 betting odds, American Mina Harigae is the favorite but she faces competition from other players.
In women’s golf, the Ladies Professional Golf Association is running the LPGA Tour, the series for elite women golfers. The Cactus Tour was established in 2005 and it is giving a great opportunity for players who are not qualified to play in the major tournaments, coming back from an injury or just starting their professional careers. The events are held in the Western part of the USA, on great courses in Phoenix, Las Vegas, California, and Texas. The Desert Canyon tour will be the 17th event this year, with 44 players taking part in it.
According to the Desert Canyon 2020 betting odds, LPGA player is favorite
Online sportsbooks in the US are giving the smallest odds for the win of Mina Harigae at 2.30 at 1xBet Sportsbook. She has been a professional golfer since 2009, with three professional wins from that year. Mina has been playing in the LPGA tournament since 2010, her best ranking was the 41st place in 2011. Last year she took part in 21 tournaments finishing once in the top 10.
The 30-year-old American’s biggest rival can be German golfer Sophia Popov. She has been playing in the Symetra Tour which is the developmental tournament of the LPGA Tour since 2016. That year she also took part in the oldest major tournament, the US Women’s Open Golf Championship, where she finished in 72nd place. But this season she is doing great in the Cactus Tour, winning two events already. No wonder she was given similar odds, 2.60 to win the following event as well.
Other mentioned players
American Haley Moore is a great talent who turned to a professional player last year. She won two events in last season’s Cactus Tour and also the 2019 California State Women’s Open. Following her successes she got the LPGA card in November, and took part in her first LPGA Tour event this February in Australia. As all major golf events have been canceled or postponed, the 21-year-old is taking part in the Cactus Tour again. Moore won one event so far in Sun City, Arizona but can achieve more great results. Her odds to win here are 6.00.
The Desert Canyon 2020 betting odds are also mentioning another previous winner of the season, Britney Yada. She is another Symetra Tour player, currently in 107th place in the world ranking. The golfer from Hawaii won a conditional LPGA card in 2017 but she couldn’t stay in the elite level after. But her plan is to get back there, so every opportunity to compete is important for her. After winning two events this tour, she might go for another one. To find her and all the other odds visit 1xBet site. And for more information read our latest review about 1xBet sportsbook.
