Liverpool Casino Gets its Hands on IGT Cloud Software

IGT Cloud released to a Liverpool Casino, Gala Leo, with a promise to enhance quality, services and games in 2012

Liverpool based casino, Gala Leo, operating in full compliance with British gambling laws has recently announced that it has installed the IGT Cloud solution at its online casino.

The International Game Technology (IGT) software is one of the leading online gambling solutions. It is rumored that data aggregation and functionality are just a small aspect of IGT’s Cloud program that attracted the casino to them.

Rosanna Evans, Head of Electronic Gaming at Gala Casinos, told United Kingdom gambling news: “As we go live, we are looking forward to utilizing IGT Cloud to optimize floor wide yields to help us as we manage the casino of the future. We are excited to partner with IGT to implement the cloud program, and are thrilled in the prospect of being able to make an impact in player experience with this innovative solution.”

One of the key services that will be accessible to the Gala Leo Casino will be IGT Cloud’s sbX Floor Manager. This piece of software allows casinos to get the very latest and best performing games, from an extensive game library. All of the games in the library are customizable and can reportedly be accessed simply, and quickly.

Also included in the package is sbX Analytics, which provides casinos with automated reports instantly on game performance in intricate detail.

Though the partnership struck back in November, the casino is the first to go live with the latest IGT product that is rumored to have the potential to change the online casino industry.

IGT Chief Technology Officer Chris Satchell, had this to say: “The IGT Cloud service completely changes the way that casinos implement new technologies and the speed of that implementation. The IGT Cloud is more cost-effective and easier to maintain than a traditional system, and will help casino operators obtain and utilize innovative technologies to optimize their casino floors and entertain their patrons.”

If the program is a success, as it is widely reported to be, then online casinos in United Kingdom might soon by equipping themselves with this cutting edge technology. Only time will tell.
