MPNPT win in Dublin was the first major success for Daniel Tighe’s poker career. He also won a good sum of money.

The Main Event of the MPN Poker Tour Dublin made 570 poker players compete against each other for the unbelievable cash prize. The tournament was a major success for Daniel Tighe, whose name might be familiar from online poker sites for the most hardcore poker fanatics. The MPNPT win at the tournament’s Main Event also made the talented young poker player 53,845 euros richer.

Triumphing this championship was the most important result in Daniel Tighe’s career so far. The buy-in for the competition cost €500. Thanks to the huge number of participants, the prize pool increased up to 256,500 euros. Of this over one fifth was given to Tighe for the MPNPT win of the Main Event. The gaming series for clinching the main prize took place in the luxury casino at the Clayton Hotel Dublin.

Daniel Tighe claimed the highest cash prize in his entire career thanks to the MPN Poker Tour Dublin, also known as the Irish Poker Cup. The British player is mostly known for his great performances in UK poker rooms, but he also participated in the 10th season of the European Poker Tour in Vienna. In that competition, he went home with a €11,650 cash reward thanks to his 13th position, and suggested that professional poker players would have to consider him in the future. The British poker player has been regular participant of several poker tournaments in the past few years. The breakthrough, however came this year for Daniel Tighe. His previous best ranking was the above mentioned 13th place. His total earnings in live tournaments were between 26-28,000 euros. Now with the MPNPT win he tripled it in a single tournament. Talk about a boost to fame and earnings.. Poker enthusiasts hope to see Daniel Tighe improve as a poker player and showing even better performances at the tables. It might be safe to say, that this MPNPT win is not the last we’ve heard of him.
