After recently beating Chelsea, United, and West Ham, the Gunners take on Leeds on Sunday. Leeds, who are fighting to avoid relegation, are in dire need of a win. However, the Arsenal v Leeds predictions all point in one direction. Matchweek 36 could shake up both the top and bottom of the table so there will be plenty of action.

Arsenal did a good job of crawling up to that important 4th position on the table. As of the beginning of Matchweek 36, only two points are separating the Gunners and Tottenham. Additionally, a few weeks ago it seemed like Chelsea would finish comfortably as 3rd but we’re not so sure anymore. They slipped a couple of times recently, including in a 2-4 loss against Arsenal. All three clubs have four remaining matches in the season, and some schedules seem a bit tougher than others. It’s no wonder that the Arsenal v Leeds predictions favour the Gunners. Leeds are fighting to avoid relegation while Arsenal is trying to hold onto their Champions League qualification spot. When we look at the remaining fixtures, Arsenal’s chances of finishing fourth are better than Tottenham’s. With a bit of luck and plenty of mistakes on Chelsea’s side, they could even finish third.

Let’s look at the brighter side of things first. The Gunners’ three most recent wins come against Chelsea, United, and West Ham. Furthermore, the last time they faced Leeds they won the match 4-1. However, Leeds’ remaining matches are not looking good. Their next two meetings are with Arsenal and Chelsea. Plus their relegation is still in the air as they compete with Burnley and Everton. Adam Forshaw is the most recently injured player in Leeds’ squad and he won’t return this season. Arsenal have used multiple formations this year but they’ll most likely run with the 4-2-3-1. The same formation is usually preferred by Leeds as well. So all in all, the Gunners are playing at home, they’re in pretty good form so it’s only natural that predictions favour them for the upcoming Arsenal v Leeds match.
