Gambling Laws in Peru

Various forms of gambling in Peru are legal under the Law on Games of Chance and Gaming machines (Ley de Juegos de Casino y Máquinas Tragamonedas) as well as the Supreme Decree 095-96-EF (Decreto Supremo 095-96-EF, Reglamento del Impuesto Selectivo al Consumo a los Juegos de Azar y Apuestas) and their amendments. Article 2 of the Law on Games of Chance and Gaming Machines contains precise definitions of the forms of gambling regulated in the country such as casino games, bingo, lotto, betting, slot machines, etc. However, there are no documents regulating online gambling in Peru, as of February 2019.  Online gambling in the country seems to remain unregulated, with the sole exception being online betting. According to Peruvian gambling laws, minors, under 18 years of age are prohibited to participate in gambling activities.
