Vilnius, Riga & Tallinn – June 2026 – HIPTHER has officially wrapped up the first-ever edition of its expanded HIPTHER Baltics 2026 conference series, a three-city roadshow that drew a combined 430 attendees across dedicated events in Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn.

Building on the well-established legacy of the MARE BALTICUM Gaming & TECH Summit and introducing a sharper, country-focused format, HIPTHER Baltics 2026 delivered three high-impact conferences tailored to the most pressing regulatory, technological, and business challenges defining the Baltic and Nordic regions. The series was designed to spark genuine dialogue between regulators, operators, fintech leaders, technology innovators, legal professionals, investors, and compliance specialists.

The 2026 series comprised:

  • HIPTHER Baltics: Vilnius – iGaming Regulation & Fintech Integration
  • HIPTHER Baltics: Riga – Cross-Border Compliance & Player Protection
  • HIPTHER Baltics & Nordics: Tallinn – Digital Governance & Startup Innovation

Vilnius: A Deep Dive into Lithuania’s Regulatory Evolution

The series kicked off on 21 April in Vilnius, where conversations centred on Lithuania’s shifting regulatory landscape and the growing overlap between fintech, payments, blockchain, and iGaming.

Attendees dug into topics including MiCA implementation, AML requirements, digital assets, banking transformation, tokenisation, the adoption of AI in financial services, next-generation payments, and the rising importance of compliance as a driver of sustainable growth. The Vilnius event marked a fresh start for Baltic-focused industry dialogue and set an energetic tone for the months that followed.

Riga: Navigating Regulation, Risk, and Growth

On 11 May, the series moved to Riga, gathering professionals from gaming, fintech, legal, compliance, and technology for a full day focused on practical business realities.

Discussion ranged across responsible gaming, player protection, AML implementation, fraud prevention, AI in supervision and taxation, payments innovation, cross-border licensing, data protection, affiliate marketing, and the shift from traditional SEO towards AI-driven discoverability. The Riga edition drove home a key message: staying compliant and continuing to grow are not mutually exclusive, even in increasingly regulated markets.

Tallinn: Where Digital Governance Meets Innovation

The series wrapped up on 2 June in Tallinn – one of Europe’s most digitally progressive capitals – with an agenda that explored the intersection of digital governance, startup ecosystems, digital identity, compliance, investment, fintech innovation, and iGaming.

Conversations spanned eIDAS 2.0 and trusted digital onboarding, sustainable player acquisition strategies, operational partnerships, AI-powered business growth, and the long-term future of digital societies. Tallinn also played host to the HIPTHER Baltic & Nordics Gaming Awards 2026, honouring outstanding performance across operators, suppliers, technology providers, and industry figures from the Baltic and Nordic regions.

More Than Conferences: Cultivating a Regional Community

Across all three cities, participants took advantage of curated networking opportunities and hands-on learning sessions delivered through the HIPTHER Academy, HIPTHER’s educational platform built around professional development, practical skills, and industry certifications.

The boutique-format events, premium content, and quality networking reinforced why the Baltics are drawing growing international interest as a centre for innovation, regulatory development, and cross-border collaboration.

What’s Next – HIPTHER Baltics 2027

Zoltan Tündik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, reflected on the series:

We are incredibly proud of what we achieved across the Baltics in 2026, but this is only the beginning. The success of the three-city series has given us valuable insights, feedback, and inspiration that we are already channelling into the planning of HIPTHER Baltics 2027. The Baltics have a unique energy when it comes to business events, innovation, and networking, and we are excited to keep growing alongside this vibrant community. Our commitment remains the same: delivering meaningful conversations, practical learning opportunities, and exceptional networking experiences that bring together the region’s most influential stakeholders.”

Following the strong reception at HIPTHER Baltics 2026, the #hipthers team is already deep in planning for what promises to be an even more ambitious next edition.

With the HIPTHER Warsaw Summit scheduled for 27–28 October 2026 and a bold roadmap for 2027–2030 already in motion, HIPTHER continues to push forward on its mission of connecting industries, markets, and ideas through premium learning experiences, meaningful networking, and cross-border collaboration across Europe.
