First and foremost, let me say: Valorant staff reads Reddit. According to Reddit, 2 months ago there was a discussion about what could bring something new to the game. This is where the most upvoted answer joked about flash-immunity with glasses, similar to R4’s Warden character. Then, 2 months later, Valorant released Warden as a weapon. I suspect Valorant did read this thread. As for what the new agent will be? It’s a cyberpunk-esque woman; not sure where she’s from. However, I do know one thing: She is blonde, has long hair, and comes out after the mode where you can build your agent.

Alternatively, she might be able to peer into the minds of enemy players, or even allies, due to the ability she did in the teaser. Maybe it can manipulate information too, sending fake info to the enemy. Thus, I believe that the new agent after Miks is definitely going to have to do with visions and abilities. Could I be completely wrong? Absolutely. Drop a comment and roast me if she turns out to be a molly-throwing initiator with a grappling hook. I’ll take it on the chin.

Agent Mastery Reworked: New In-Game Flex

The Valorant Warden rifle is not the only big thing coming. So far, Agent Mastery is very old. It was phenomenal at the release of Valorant, but now? It’s just sort of boring. Every day I buy a new feature and realize the rewards are not all that good. However, this is going to change now. According to Valorant Leaks on X, Valorant will give you a whole customizable card with artwork you can grind agent mastery for. Furthermore, you’ll receive a Coin Flex that will grow with your achievements, and you can even throw it on the ground to display your highest-mastery agent. Expect the toxicity, obviously. Somebody will drop a coin on a corpse, and the all-chat will erupt. However, that’s half the appeal. Valorant needed more room for personality, and grinding rewards that nobody sees scratched that itch.

Will the grind be reasonable? I think yes. Riot enjoys long progression curves, and “customisable” occasionally means “buy this.”

Still, tying cosmetics to actual agent hours feels healthier than another paywalled bundle. If the artwork looks decent, I’ll grind Cypher until my eyes bleed. Fair warning to my teammates.

Valorant Warden Skins?

When Miks were released, we saw the Bandit gun receiving a bunch of skin options. I suspect that the new gun will also receive its own set of starting skin options, and the newer bundles and battle passes will include Warden skins more frequently. Skin lines feel incomplete without full coverage, and collectors notice gaps instantly. A bundle missing the newest rifle looks cheap. Riot knows this, so retroactive additions and fresh Warden variants should follow quickly.

Personally, I’d love something restrained. Half the community wants glowing kill counters and finishing animations that last four seconds. Give me clean iron sights and a satisfying reload sound instead. The Valorant Warden rifle is for patient players, so its skins should feel calm-loud rather than carnival-loud.
