HIPTHER Launches AI Summit in Prague With €40,000 Startup Prize

Taking place on 25 March 2027 as the third day of HIPTHER Prague Week, the new Summit brings together two live stages, four hands-on Academy courses and an investor-facing startup competition, all focused on AI and cybersecurity.

Prague, Czech Republic, 20 October 2026. HIPTHER is launching the HIPTHER AI Summit 2027, a new international conference on 25 March 2027 at OREA Hotel Andels Praha. It follows the HIPTHER Prague Summit on 23–24 March.

The brief is short: AI and Cybersecurity. Nothing Else. There are no side tracks and no loosely connected tech themes. The day is built around the technologies, businesses, risks, regulations and people shaping the next phase of artificial intelligence and digital security.

The audience will include AI founders, developers, researchers, CTOs, CISOs, investors, cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, technology leaders and innovators from CEE, the Baltics, the Balkans, D-A-CH and beyond. The aim is to connect established technology companies and ambitious startups with the people taking AI from possibility into practice.

Past the Hype, Into the Build

The Summit starts from one idea: the AI conversation has moved on from whether the technology will transform industries.

The questions now are how it will be built, where it can create measurable value, how it should be governed, how it can be secured, and who will build what comes next.

Topics will include Generative AI and LLMs, AI agents and applied AI, AI-native software development, enterprise AI adoption, developer tools and infrastructure, AI-driven automation, threat intelligence and SOC, AI in fraud detection and AML, ransomware and incident response, Zero Trust, AI regulation and the EU AI Act, cybersecurity for regulated industries, and emerging AI and security research.

Cybersecurity is not treated as a neighbouring subject. The programme puts AI and security in the same conversation. It looks at what increasingly powerful AI systems can enable, and at the new vulnerabilities, governance requirements and threats that come with them.

Three Formats, One Day

The Summit runs across three dedicated environments.

Stage 1: AI & Cybersecurity. The main conference stage hosts expert panels, keynotes, presentations, regulatory discussions, real-world case studies and technical sessions. They cover AI strategy, machine learning, security, governance, infrastructure and cyber policy.

Stage 2: HIPTHER AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge. For the first time, HIPTHER will put emerging AI and cybersecurity companies in front of investors, technology leaders, operators, industry experts and a live conference audience. The inaugural HIPTHER AI & Cybersecurity Startup Challenge 2027 ends on the Summit stage. Some of the most promising early-stage companies will get the chance to show what they are building and why it deserves to scale.

HIPTHER Academy: four practitioner-led courses. A separate Academy room will run four structured AI and cybersecurity courses throughout the day. They go past conference discussion into practical, hands-on learning led by experienced practitioners. Seats will be limited, and course topics and enrolment will open separately.

€40,000 for the Winning Startup

The Startup Challenge is meant to find and accelerate early-stage AI and cybersecurity companies from Europe and beyond. It gives them a route from application to investor exposure and, for the strongest teams, the live stage in Prague.

The Prague finalists will pitch to an expert jury in a live format. It tests the technology, business case, market opportunity and team, and the founders’ ability to defend their vision under questioning.

The winner receives a €40,000 investment. The full investment structure, eligibility requirements, evaluation framework and Competition Rules will be published when applications open.

Startups that take part also gain visibility, serious industry feedback, investor access and connections with potential partners and customers.

The AI Summit extends HIPTHER’s flagship Prague gathering into a three-day international business and technology week.

The HIPTHER Prague Summit, on 23–24 March 2027, continues to bring together leaders from gaming, fintech, payments, regulation, compliance, technology and business across Europe and beyond.

On 25 March, the focus shifts to AI and cybersecurity. It is the same city and the same venue, with one extra day and a different conversation. International delegates, founders, investors, speakers and technology companies can reach several connected ecosystems in a single trip to Prague.
