Following the triumph in last night’s World Cup final over Argentina, bookmakers believe Germany is looking to build on current momentum.

Germany have emerged winners of the 2014 Cup, which also marks their 4th World title. After serving a devastating blow to Brazil with a record 7-1 win in the semi-finals, the Europeans were on course to achieve history. According to gambling news, they were bursting with confidence which saw them put a great fight against a tough Argentina side.

Throughout the past 12 years, Germany has managed to record a podium finish at all World Cups. In 2002 they clinched second spot after losing to Brazil, while as hosts in their native country in 2006, Germany settled with a bronze medal. Afterwards in 2010 South Africa, the Europeans once again recorded a third place finish.

Likely winners for both EURO 2016 and World Cup 2018

Now they have finally achieved top glory, and many mobile betting providers are confident that more success is about to follow. The next tournament is in just two years time, where European nations will square off against one another in Euro Championship held in France.

Ladbrokes predicts that Germany may triumph at both the EURO 2016 and in the subsequent World Cup in Russia 2018. The bookmakers offers odds of 20-1 that they emerge champions at both tournaments. Argentina on the other hand has been given 8-1 odds by Coral for winning at the next World Cup.
