Within the Aruban gambling legislation, there are several legal acts that comprise the core of the laws regulating gambling in this constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. They include “State Ordinance for Games of Chance” (Landsverordening Hazardspelen) from 1999, the “Ordinance on Licenses” (Vergunningsverordening) from 2002,  and the “National Ordinance on State Lotteries”. The regulatory body of the land-based gambling activities in the country is the Dipartamento di Asuntonan di Casino (DAC), which functions within the Ministry of Justice on Aruba.
