The Comoros is a small archipelago off the eastern coast of Africa. After gaining independence in 1975, the country experienced a number of attempted coups and political instability has become commonplace.

Gambling in the Comoros is legal, but only inside of a licensed gambling establishment. Obtaining a license to operate a gambling establishment requires a one-time fee of $20,000. Both of these casinos offer a wide range of slot machines and table games.

Sports betting is also legal inside the Comoros, but only through a licensed sportsbook. It is unclear whether either of the two casinos in the Comoros offer any kind of sports betting.

Although the lottery is legal in the Comoros, the country does not currently have a national lottery in place. A number of lotto games are said to be offered at the casinos here.
