The Rajasthan Royals have a more balanced squad this year

The Rajasthan Royals reached the playoffs last year and finished in 4th place, under the mentorship of Shane Warne. The Australian former player had already led the franchise to win the first edition of the IPL in 2008, serving as both the captain and the coach. And at the time, they were also initially ruled out as possible winners. 2019 IPL Winner Odds Sawai Mansingh StadiumEven though Rajasthan was unable to keep good seasons in the years that followed, the team was 3rd in 2013. And in the same year were runners-up in the now-defunct Champions League Twenty20.      However, according to online sportsbook news sites in India, the team from the “Pink City” underwent a two-year suspension from the league in 2015, along with Chennai. Earlier this year, Paddy Upton was announced as the new head coach for this season. From 2013 and 2015, Upton was responsible for the Royals’ success.  This year they will also have Steve Smith back to their team, as well as Indian talents Varun Aaron and Jaydev Unadkat. Moreover, with new additions such as the young Jamaican star Oshane Thomas, it seems that they can win their second title. Their odds are 12/1 at BetVictor.

The Kings XI Punjab will bring back consistency to their game during the season

The Kings XI Punjab are starting the league well, counting already with a victory over the Rajasthan Royals. In 2008, Punjab finished 3rd. They haven’t been able to consistently compete with the top teams of the league, but in 2014 were runners-up.  That same year, Punjab was a semi-finalist in the Twenty20. This season, they have some of the best players in the league. In the last match against Rajasthan, the Jamaican Chris Gayle became the fastest batsman to score 4,000 runs in the history of the IPL, taking him 112 innings to do so. Since last year that Ravichandran Ashwin, one of the best Indian cricketers, is the team’s captain. Punjab started the 2018 season really well but started to fall in the second half. This year, the franchise will try to turn things around. And with the new spinners, they will be certainly looking to continue what was left to be done in 2014. Their odds are 7/1 at online sportsbook sites in India.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore can win according to our 2019 IPL winner odds

The Royal Challengers Bangalore are one of the biggest threats in the league. Probably because of their unpredictability, as they have proved that they can always surprise and finish the competition on the top.

The franchise from Karnataka was 2nd in the league on three different occasions during the past 10 years, counting as well with a 3rd and 4th place. For 2 years now that they are unable to leave the bottom of the table. However, this year they have new additions that might prove others wrong. Shimron Hetmyer was named one of the five breakthrough stars in the sports by the International Cricket Council, as he is leading the West Indies to a number of victories. Another valuable contribution to the team is the Indian player Shivam Dube, who had an incredible last season playing for Mumbai in domestic cricket. He finally has a chance to prove his game at the IPL and will definitely help Bangalore to get to the top again. This way, the squad’s odds of winning are 7/1 at BetVictor.
