  • Nottinghamshire are set to win the 2019 Vitality Blast
  • 2018 Vitality Blast runners up return with good odds to claim this year’s title
  • Worcestershire don’t have the best odds to defend their 2018 Vitality Blast title

Vitaly Blast cricket will soon return to our screens and we have some exciting projections for the 2019 competition. According to the 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions, Worcestershire will be the biggest casualties with low chances of defending their 2018 title. Nottinghamshire and Sussex are top front runners to claim the 2019 Vitality Blast trophy.

Vitality Blast is also known as the t20 Blast is a professional Twenty20 cricket competition in England and Wales. The 2019 Vitaly Blast will run from 18 July 2019 to 21 September 2019 with the final taking place in Birmingham. Founded in 2003, the competition features two divisions, North and South Division. Teams that finish in the top 4 of each division advance to the knockout stages of the cricket competition.

On Unibet Sportsbook, you can bet on both the finishing position and the winner of the cricket competition. Here’s how the 2019 Vitality Blast odds of some of the cricket teams stand:

2019 Vitality Blast Betting Odds at Unibet Sportsbook
Top 4 Winner

Sussex 8/5 7/1
Worcestershire 11/4 14/1
Glamorgan 11/2 25/1
Derbyshire 6/1 33/1

Nottinghamshire have the best odds to clinch this year’s Vitality Blast trophy

Nottinghamshire are favorites to secure a top 4 finish in the North Division and win the 2019 Vitality Blast on Unibet SportsbookLast year, Nottinghamshire almost missed out on the knockout stages finishing 4th position, two points ahead of Yorkshire. Their title defending campaign came to an end after losing by 19 runs to Somerset at the 2018 Vitality Blast quarterfinals.

2019 Vitality Blast Betting Predictions
Nottinghamshire play their games at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground

Fortunately, with odds of winning the cricket competition at 6/1, it’s expected that they will claim their 2nd t20 title. According to the 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions, their road to victory will be untroubled. This is because they have the best odds at 11/8 assuring them a top 4 finish in their division.

2018 Vitality Blast runners up Sussex will return to the competition with their eyes set on the 2019 t20 trophy

Sussex will start the 2019 Vitaly Blast campaign with good odds to claim the title they failed to win in 2018. Last year the club finished in a respectable 3rd position in the South Division to advance to the knockout stages. Fortunately, the 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions foresee Sussex topping the South Division with top 4 finish odds at 8/5.

Despite winning the cricket competition in 2009, Sussex are good 2019 Vitality Blast title contenders with odds at 7/1. According to the online sportsbook news in the UK, the signing of South African cricketer Imran Tahir could boost their title aspirations. Surrey have confirmed that the spinner will play for the duration of the 2019 Vitality Blast filling the club’s second overseas player spot.

Tahir was one of the standout players in the IPL for Chennai Kings last year. Additionally, his extensive experience in t20 playing for Durham, Middlesex, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire could prove to be beneficial for Surrey.

The 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions don’t foresee a title win for 2018 champions Worcestershire

Worcestershire won the 2018 Vitality Blast competition beating this year’s title front runners Sussex. However, with odds of winning this year’s Vitality Blast at 14/1, Worcestershire’s title-defending chances are low.

Last year, the English club comfortably secured a spot in the knockout stages after topping the North Division. It’s predicted that Worcestershire will finish inside the top 4 of their division with odds at 11/4 on Unibet Sportsbook. However, the 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions say that Worcestershire will likely struggle in the knockout stages, jeopardizing their title hopes.

Fortunately, Worcestershire have a line up of promising players such a 2017 t20 debutant bowler Pat Brown. Last year, the 20-year-old cricket player made a name for himself by scoring the Most Wickets in the competition. Unfortunately, the club’s title aspirations might have to come down to pure luck in the knockout stages.

Glamorgan have yet to claim a Vitality Blast title

Welsh cricket Club don’t have the best Vitality Blast record to back up their 2019 title hopes. The South Division club have on the worst odds of winning the 2019 cricket competition with high odds at 25/1. Glamorgan’s 2018 performance at the 2018 Vitality Blast also don’t make them safe bets on Unibet Sportsbook. They failed to advance to the knockout stages after finishing 6th in the South Division.

It also looks doubtful that Glamorgan will secure a top 4 finish this year with odds at 11/2. They are however expected to improve from their 2018 Vitality Blast performance by securing a Top 5 finish. Glamorgan players to watch in the upcoming cricket campaign will be batsman Colin Ingramn and bowler Timm van der Gugten.

Derbyshire could miss out the 2019 Vitality Blast knockout stages

Derbyshire have the worst odds on Unibet Sportsbook to secure a top 4 finish at 6/1. The 2019 Vitality Blast betting predictions also say that Derbyshire could miss out on winning the 2019 title with high odds of 33/1. Since 2014, they’ve only managed to advance to the knockout stages once in 2017. However, they later knocked out in the quarterfinals.

They performed worse at the 2018 Vitality Blast finishing 7th and failing to advance to the knockout stages. Their overall rocky Vitality Blast record makes them unlikely candidates to be this year’s Vitality Blast champions. If Derbyshire can still defy their odds odd on Unibet Sportsbook if they can learn from their 2018 mistakes.

It won’t be an easy road to finish in one of the knockout stage positions. This is because they’re likely to drop points against this year’s title front runners. Unfortunately, with poor a knockout stage record, Derbyshire would most likely fail to advance past the 2019 Vitality Blast quarterfinals.
