The Producers Guild of America (PGA) will honor the most impactful producing achievements in the worlds of film and TV on 24 March. At a virtual ceremony, the winners of the 32nd annual PGA Awards will be named. We already know the nominees in all categories by online sportsbook news sites in the United States.

The main category everyone is interested in is Best Picture. The reason is that over the last two years, every film nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars was first nominated by the PGA. For this year, we have a number of frontrunners at the 2021 PGA Awards winner odds for Best Picture. On top is ‘Nomadland’ directed by Zhao.

‘Nomadland’ favored among several mainstays for  Best Picture

No doubt that predicting the winner at the 2021 PGA Awards odds for Best Picture is not easy. There are several nominees who are the awards season mainstays. Most of them are films produced by Amazon Studios and Netflix.

On the side of Amazon ‘One Night in Miami’ and ‘Sound of Metal’ are in contention. Their odds are 26 and 41 respectively at 22BET Sportsbook. About Netflix, there are ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ (34), ‘Mank’ (17), and ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ (4) who all have been strong performers in most of the ceremonies. But, the one that seems to be the favorite is Chloe Zhao’s ‘Nomadland’ with 1.37 at 2021 PGA Awards winner odds.

Best Documentary another big PGA award

Should we look at other major categories at online sportsbooks in the United States, the Best Documentary Award has a high value. Most likely one of three contenders will receive the award. They are ‘A Life on Our Planet’ by David Attenborough, ‘The Last Dance’, and ‘Time’ directed by Garrett Bradley.

‘A Life on Our Planet’ is very touching and colorful. The message of the documentary is comprehensive and therefore rightfully deserves to win with 15 odds. But then ‘The Last Dance’ has so many revelations in its 10 parts about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dynasty. The documentary presents a big work with a 1.25 value of winning. Finally, ‘Time’ the personalized piece of work that is very hard to watch stands at 1.5.

‘The Crown’ has the Best TV Drama award odds

Looking at the top nominees for the Best TV Drama there are two big performers in the past several awards seasons. The first one is ‘The Crown’ which is the current Emmy favorite. It is not the first time of course the ‘The Crown’ is the big favorite. It won numerous awards for the past three years, and the latest installment of the series values 1.22 to win again.

The other contender with 10 odds is ‘Ozark’ which has collected several accolades already. What is more, Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’ became the most popular TV series on Netflix around the world. It jumps to the contest with its first season standing at 10 odds.

‘Onward’ or ‘Soul’ likely to win Best Animated Feature

Should the winning animated movie be one that has a deep message, then most likely ‘Onward’ or ‘Soul’ will win. ‘Onward follows two elf brothers who search for an artifact that temporarily would bring back their dead father. But, by the end of the journey, they realize that it is all about family and friendship. ‘Onward’ stands at 19 to win.

‘Soul’ a story about a Jazz pianist who experiences a near-death suits adults more than any other contender. The movie aims to urge us to slow down and enjoy the little things we experience in our daily lives. And it values 1.08 to win.
