The South American qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup will continue next week after the postponement of the previous two rounds. After four games Brazil lead ahead of Argentina and will host Ecuador. While the Albiceleste will play against Chile at home. The  2022 World Cup qualifiers’ predictions favor both teams to win their games easily in the next round.

Four teams will qualify automatically from the South American group, also called CONMBOL to the 2022 World Cup. While the fifth-place team can play in the inter-confederation play-off for another spot. At the moment, after four rounds, Brazil leads ahead of Argentina, Ecuador and Paraguay. Two-time World Cup winner Uruguay are only in fifth place but it’s still early stage. Oscar Tabarez’s team will face Paraguay next week in an important game, but teams in the bottom half would also need a good result to keep their qualifying chances alive. Like Columbia, who are currently in 7th place with one win, one draw and two defeats. They can move up in the table with a win against Peru now, who only have a single point so far.

2022 World Cup qualifiers’ predictions favor easy wins for top teams

Current leader Brazil will host third-place Ecuador next Saturday at Estadio Beira-Rio with the odds of 1.30 to win the game. Online sportsbooks in Brazil favor their team massively even though Ecuador have been performing well so far. Gustavo Alfaro’s team lost against Argentina in their first game, but they won their next three matches against Uruguay, Bolivia and Columbia. Of course, their team doesn’t have such superstars as Neymar, Gabriel Jesus or Thiago Silva. But they only lost 1-0 against Argentina and they have been playing even better since.

The other big favorites, Argentina will play against Chile also at home. They have the odds of 1.60 to get the three points. Lionel Scaloni is hoping that his stars are not too tired after their busy schedule at their clubs. The Albiceleste only drew their last home game against Paraguay last November, but surely Messi and his teammates will aim for a win now.  The 2022 World Cup qualifiers’ predictions offer quite high odds, 5.25 for the guests’ victory. But the Chilean team also has some world-class players like Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez. And a new manager in Uruguayan Martin Lasarte who wants to bring the team back to the World Cup.

Uruguay should also win against Paraguay

Uruguay lost against Ecuador and Brazil and are in 5th place at the moment. Now they are favored to win against Paraguay at home with the odds of 1.70. At least that’s what everyone is expecting from the team, which reached the quarter-finals in the last World Cup in Russia. Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani are still key players of the team, along with younger talents such as Federico Valverde and Lucas Torreira. Paraguay are still unbeaten after one win and three draws though. Their team can try now to get at least a point from Montevideo as well.

Peru will face Columbia in one of the most balanced games of the round. With the guests being slightly favored by online gambling sites in Brazil.  The Columbian team has only one win so far against Venezuela. While they suffered a huge, 6-1 defeat against Ecuador in the last round which also cost the job of their head coach. Surely they will do everything for the victory with the odds of 2.30 to get it. In the opening game of the round Bolivia will meet Venezuela. The home team is at the bottom of the table with only one point.  But can get the win now against their opponent who are only two points ahead of them.
