40 billion dollars prizepool guaranteed in May Tourney which starts on May 10 until May 24.

PokerStars, the Amaya company's top poker subsidiary, which operates under EU gambling laws is hosting a the 2015 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), with a total guaranteed prizepool of $40,000,000 from running from May 10-24. There will be 46 events and 138 tournaments. Purchases can be made for low, medium and high buy-ins. The Main Event High features a $1 million guaranteed first place prize as part of the PokerStars Makes Millionaires promotion.

Over the next eight weeks, PokerStars is out to make five more people become millionaires, in an extensive series of promotions and tournaments. While over in Malta, Jean Montury of France won €687,400 in first prize in the EPT Malta main event, after a heads-up deal was made with eventual runner-up Valentin Messina. Dominic Panka, 2014 PCA champ, settled for third place. There were 895 players who had total buy-ins of EUR 5,300 buy-in, vying to win part of the prize pool of EUR 4,340,750.

The $1,000 buy-in re-entry tournament FTOPS XXVIII Main Event, saw Potta x Potta from Malta winning $239,000. 1,260 players participated in the tournament which had a prize pool of $1,197,000, easily going over the $1 million guarantee benchmark. That said the massive MicroMillions Main Event was won by ‘BgsaPnaples’ of Canada, who came out the winner of $110,742.52, rising above the over 59,648 players in the $22 buy-in competition.

Polish player, Dzmitry Urbanovich, nipped an incredible 4 tournaments, thus making EU gambling news, at the EPT Malta. Urbanovich first declared victory in the special EUR 25K High Roller for EUR 572,300. That was followed by another win in the EUR 1,100 Deepstack Turbo Big Ante event. He then went on to win EUR 5,200 in the Turbo and then things got super nutty when he won the EUR 220 Crazy Pineapple. Urbanovich bagged a total of EUR 729,545 during the fun festival.
