The Champions League is finally back, with many superb matches on the agenda already in the first round.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here – the start of the new Champions League campaign. The biggest football club competition is back and is ready to get underway with a whole load of thrilling encounters to bet on with online sportsbooks in EU!

Inter v TottenhamH 2.95 (21/11) D 3.25 (9/4) A 2.65 (18/11)

The Spurs haven’t signed any new players over last summer, but have instead focused on keeping their star players at the club. As they set on their European adventure this week, only time will tell whether they’ve made a mistake or whether it was worth it. (Check out our review about Unibet Sportsbook for more info about the online betting site.)
Tottenham Hotspur Flag
Will the Spurs flag fly high at the end of their game?
Inter are far from a serious challenger, but the fact that Mauricio Pochettino’s men haven’t hit off the new Premier League season on the right foot could signal that potential troubles are on the cards for their opening game against the Italians. That’s why we’re willing to bet this game could end up in a draw with goals.

Liverpool v PSGH 2.28 (9/7) D 3.80 (14/5) A 3.10 (21/10)

This is perhaps the biggest clash of opening round of the Champions League, so don’t let it go to waste. It’s last season’s runners-up against the ‘nouveau riche’ side that are desperate to win the European crown. Last year PSG went all out to get the best players who could land them the big elephant-ear trophy, but they failed in that mission as they crashed out in the last 16 against eventual winners Real Madrid.Jurgen Klopp’s men have been firing on all cylinders since the start of the new Premier League campaign, so this could be one tough game to crack for both sides. But we’re going to back the Red, mainly for their impeccable form and the fact that they’ll be playing in front of their own supporters.

Benfica v Bayern MunichH 7.25 (25/4) D 4.30 (33/10) A 1.48 (1/2)

Five-time European champions Bayern Munich kick off their 2018/19 Champions League season against two-time winners Benfica, and considering the wealth of talent in the German side’s squad, this match should be a no brainer when betting with providers of internet betting in EU. But the point is they have a manager that’s not really experienced in Europe’s elite competition. Niko Kovac, who used to play Bayern between 2001 and 2003, has been appointed the head of the Bavarian giants last summer after guiding Eintracht Frankfurt to the German cup final where they lifted the DFB Pokal. But besides that, he’s a rooky in the Champions League, so Bayern might struggle somewhat under him until they get acclimatised to his managerial style. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ8mFSes3JI

Valencia v JuventusH 4.70 (37/10) D 3.40 (12/5) A 1.85 (6/7)

And the final encounter that we’ll cover is the one that features Spanish side Valencia and Turin-based Juventus, a club that has the world’s best player and serial Champions League winner, Cristiano Ronaldo. With the Portuguese in their squad, their chances of actually clinching the elusive trophy have been significantly boosted, despite the fact that they’ve reached the final twice in the last the last four years. We’re thinking Ronaldo will step to the plate yet again, as the European competition seems to be his favourite; that’s why we’re supporting Juventus to clinch an easy victory.
