This season in the Italian top flight we’ve seen some changes take place; Napoli is still hanging on to a slender lead at the top of the table, sitting merely 1 point above the league’s shark – Juventus. Lazio have jumped into the fold in recent games with solid performances, while Inter are giving it their all to regain their former glory, but they’re still not resembling a side capable of maintaining a good form in the long run.

Spal v Inter – H 5.50 (9/2) D 3.95 (32/11) A 1.62 (5/8)

The Nerazzurri will face a test this in this weekend’s round 22, as they’re preparing to face Spal – a side that has been promoted to Seria A just last season. Normally we’d place our bets on any opposing facing a newly promoted club, however Inter have on occasion underperformed when playing on the road this season.

(Take a quick look at our review about Unibet Sportsbook to learn more about other markets and great offers!)

They’re currently 4th in the league with 43 points, and although they’re clinched 5 victories away from San Siro, Inter have also drawn on 4 occasion and lost once on the road. That’s why they strike us as a little unstable, which is why online sportbooks in Italy have given them increased odds for this match against Spal, who are in 17th spot with only 16 points to their name. We’d bet on a combination of a draw/win in favour of Inter.

AC Milan v Lazio – H 2.43 (10/7) D 3.35 (26/11) A 2.90 (19/10)

Since appointing former player Gennaro Gattuso in late November, AC Milan were able to collect 17 points out of a possible 30 from his first 10 games in charge of the club. And they’re still no closer to the top 4 of the table; having clinched 31 points until this stage in the campaign from 21 encounters, which grants them 7th position in the league.

But Gattuso has won the last 2 games and he’ll be looking to continue that good run when they face Rome side Lazio – who have been a revelation this season, currently occupying 3rd spot thanks to 46 points. We’re pretty unsure about this match, but considering that Lazio have won their last 5 encounter, but the venue will be San Siro, we’re willing to bet on a draw with goals between these 2 sides.

AS Roma v Sampdoria – H 1.40 (2/5) D 4.80 (19/5) A 7.00 (6/1)

The club from the capital have been pushing hard over the past few season, but they somehow never manage to get into the top fold. And this season they’ve been pushed out of the top 4 by their local rivals Lazio and southern neighbours Napoli, finding themselves in 5th position currently. Over the last 5 matches, AS Roma have recorded 3 draws and 2 losses, which speaks volumes about their poor form that has seen them surpassed by other rivals.

Sampdoria will be their opponent this weekend, however they maintain a slightly better record over recent matches, having won 2 games, drawn once and lost 2 over the same period. No to mention that they’ve suffered 5 defeats while playing on the road, which is why we’re putting our money on a draw with providers of internet betting in Italy.
