After a short international break that saw some pretty spectacular matches, European club football is ready to get back into full swing.

The big five leagues are back and are prepared to showcase exciting match-ups between different clubs sides for their hungry fans. Teams from England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France are all anxious for the weekend where they will have to show their supporters what they have been missing throughout the two-week absence.

There are several matches that punters will relish in because they promise to offer good football value. Arsenal will take on Manchester United at home on Saturday, a match that can go either way, while Catalan powerhouse Barcelona will host Sevilla in Matchday 12 of the current La Liga season, according to Spanish gambling news. Perhaps the most thrilling action will take place in Italy as AC Milan will square off against fierce town rivals Inter.

Great action expected for the Premier League weekend

• AC Milan will take on Inter Milan on Sunday evening

• Louis van Gaal’s men will be tested against Arsenal

• Barcelona favorites to thrash visiting team Sevilla

• Marseille very likely to win over rivals Bordeaux
In the Premier League, Chelsea are still holding the top spot with 25 points from 11 games. Their next opponent is West Brom who are currently in 13th place with only 13 points. Considering the great difference between the two sides, the London club should be routine winners 1.22 (11/50) while a draw stands at a high 6.25 (21/4) per Unibet Sportsbook.

Although Chelsea are favorites for the Premier League title this season, one team has managed to assert themselves despite not having the same kind of financial muscle behind them. Southampton has been a true surprise this year, mainly thanks to their Dutch mastermind Ronald Koeman. They are currently sitting in second place with 25 points, only 4 points behind leaders Chelsea and are looking to maintain their impeccable form.

They next face Aston Villa away on Monday night where online sportsbooks in the UK have outlines them as strong favorites for the match. Unibet Sportsbook has given them odds of 1.70 (7/10), while Aston Villa will have fight hard if they are to win on their home soil 5.00 (4/1). A draw between the two teams does not seem very likely 3.65 (13/5).

The match that bears the most ambiguity is the one between the Gunners and the Red Devils. Arsenal are favored to win the encounter 2.10 (11/10), but they haven’t performed as well as expected following last summer’s expensive recruits. Taking into account that van Gaal’s newly assembled men still have to find themselves in the squad, Manchester United are not deemed to have the capacity to seal a victory 3.25 (9/4), while a draw stands at 3.60 (13/5).

Noteworthy matches from other leagues

Following the international encounter where Italy hosted Croatia on Sunday evening which ended in 1-1 at the San Siro, the same stadium is set for a thrilling derby game. The town rivals AC Milan 2.55 (31/20) will host Inter Milan 2.75 (7/4) on Sunday evening, however neither team has been putting on convincing performances lately. That is why Unibet believes that a draw is the most likely outcome of the game 3.20 (11/5), considering the recent results.

Thanks to the revised French gambling laws, online gaming providers can offer better services to their loyal customers. Punters will be especially happy because this Sunday night as Bordeaux will play Marseille away, a match that cannot be missed for many hardcore fans. Marseille is currently top of the table with 28 points and is favorite 1.55 (11/20), while Bordeaux is sitting in fourth with 4 points behind and is very unlikely to win 6.25 (21/4).

In Germany, Schalke will host second placed Wolfsburg (23 points) on Saturday. The match promises to be a great spectacle in the Bundesliga as two great sides will battle each other. Schalke are currently far behind in 11th place, so this should be an encounter where Wolfsburg emerges victorious over one of their rivals. Dieter Hecking’s men are primed to notch 3 points 2.35 (27/20), while Schalke 2.90 (19/10) will have to play second-fiddle to the visitors.

In the Spanish La Liga, Barcelona will square off against Sevilla who are now stuck in 5th place with 23 points. Barcelona have recently suffered two consecutive defeats which has seen their fierce rivals Real Madrid overtake them and claim the top spot on the table. Luis Enrique will try to get a win for his team 1.22 (11/50) against Sevilla, who are not considered to have much of a chance 12.00 (11/1).
