Players have a chance to scoop some impressive rewards this weekend, thanks to the matches set to be played in the top flight of German football.

Last week we have the opportunity to witness a derby involving Dortmund and Bayern Munich, a game that saw the latter side clinch a 1-0 win at the Westfalenstadion. This match once again indicated that the German league is not what it used to be, where different teams were able to challenge for the top trophies. Nevertheless, it is still an thrilling competition that produces good football action almost every weekend.

Gambling news reports that for round 28 we will see the likes of Mainz and Leverkusen go head to head, while Pep Guardiola’s men will face Frankfurt at home, a game which they should easily overcome. An exciting match is expected between Moenchengladbach and Dortmund, considering the great players within each respective side. And lastly, the final encounter on our list will see Hamburger square off against Wolfsburg.

Bayern Munich vs Frankfurt and Mainz vs Leverkusen

Bayern Munich are looking to clinch their third successive Bundesliga title, and just looking at how expensive their squad is they are certainly going to achieve that objective. So far they are clear 10 points from second-placed Wolfsburg, claiming a total of 67 points. However, despite maintaining an almost impeccable record, several weeks ago they suffered a loss against Moenchengladbach at home, which ended 0-2 after the final whistle.

Bayern prepare to face Frankfurt
Moenchengladbach will host Dortmund
Frankfurt currently stand in 8th position after having collected a total of 35 points. Their form over the last 5 encounters saw them clinch 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. The bad news for them is that they have one of the worst records on the road in the league. They were only able to win twice, while all the other encounters ended in 4 draws and 7 losses. Bet365 therefore decided to give them outsider chances 17.00 (16/1), while a draw stands at 7.50 (13/2).

Bundesliga Bayern Munich Frankfurt

Mainz will clash with Leverkusen at home on Saturday at 15:30 CET. Considering the difference between the two sides, Leverkusen should have the upper leg for the encounter as Mainz are sitting below the middle of the table. They currently occupy 12th spot after accumulating 31 points so far this season. Over the last 5 games they recorded 3 draws, 1 loss and only 1 wins, so they are viewed as unlikely candidates 3.30 (23/10) for the win on their own ground, by mobile betting sites.

Bundesliga Mainz Leverkusen

Leverkusen on the other hand are putting on a good fight in trying to break their way into the top 4 positions on the table. The sit in 4th spot with 38 points, while third-placed Moenchengladbach have 50 points. While playing away from home they managed to collect 6 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses, so it makes sense that their odds are quite favorable 2.20 (6/5). A draw between the two stands at a high 3.40 (12/5).

Moenchengladbach vs Dortmund and Hamburger vs Wolfsburg

Moenchengladbach will clash with Dortmund at home where they will likely be able to clinch a win, judging by their recent performances and better standing in the league than their next opponents. So far they have collected 50 points from 27 outings, and they maintain a pretty impressive form (4 wins and 1 draw in the last 5 games). The odds for them are 2.80 (9/5), while a tie stands at an unlikely 3.40 (12/5).

Bundesliga Moenchengladbach Dortmund

Jurgen Klopp’s men have endured a pretty disastrous season so far. After having no choice but to let go of their star striker Robert Lewandowski last year, they have slumped to the bottom of the league. Luckily for them, in recent matches they have performed better and they now sit in 10th position claiming an overall of 33 points. While playing away from home they managed to win 4 times, with the other encounters finishing in 3 draws and 7 losses. This is part of the reason why they have been assigned preferential chances 2.50 (3/2).

Bundesliga Hamburger Wolfsburg

The last game on our list is the one between Hamburger and Wolfsburg. The Wolves have enjoyed a great time for most of the current season, and especially after recruiting Schurrle to complement their ranks. Over the last 5 matches they won 3 times, while also blundering twice by recording a draw and 1 loss. If it weren’t for rivals Bayern, they would have been first instead of being second in the league.

Online sportsbooks in Germany have assigned them favorite status 1.80 (4/5), considering the position Hamburg is in. The hosts are underdogs 4.33 (10/3) for the match, mainly due to their poor form and bad results. They it in the relegation zone (16th) with only 25 points to their name. They had hoped that bringing back former striker Ivica Olic would help their cause, however nothing has changed. Online betting provider have a draw for the match at 3.75 (11/4) odds.
