Cozy Games converts FremantleMedia television slot titles for iPhone5

Good British gambling news for operators looking for branded content: Cozy Games announces to develop a suite of games for the mobile and tablet market together with FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME), the brand extension arm of FremantleMedia.

Cozy Games will convert popular slot titles such as The X Factor: Steps To Stardom, The Price is Right, Family Fortunes and Play Your Cards Right to mobile applications, available for iPad, iPhone and Android-based smartphones.

The market is huge, because some jurisdictions, including the British gambling laws allow real-money bets in mobile gambling to a certain extent.

Simon Murphy, FremantleMedia Enterprises Head of Gambling in EMEA region said: “This is the first in a long line of new initiatives and game launches, and will further cement us as a leading distributor of branded content.”

Murphy went on praising Cozy Games’ professional saying: “Cozy Games have done a great job in converting the games and provisioning the integration so that the games can be played on different operator platforms”.

Cozy Games was founded in 2005 by gaming industry experts. Currently the company has a product suite of over 90 games including bingo, classic and video slots, table games, scratch cards and network jackpots.

FremantleMedia is part of the RTL Group, Europe’s largest television and radio broadcast company, it operates in 22 countries, and has the rights for some of the world’s most successful formats: Idol, Hole In The Wall, The X Factor, and The Price is Right.

With the co-operation of the two, British mobile gambling operators will have access to games that could attract a massive audience based on their themes’ popularity. Tim Green, Cozy Games COO noted: “This latest partnership proves that we are the mobile developer of choice and add the FME content to our growing library of third party content, as we strive to become the game content aggregator of choice”.
