Djokovic claimed his ninth Grand Slam title after beating Federer in four sets on Sunday to successfully defend his title.

The slight rain delay on Sunday’s game did not stop Djokovic to emerge as the winner of Wimbledon 2015. He beat Federer in the fourth set 6-3 to make the game 7-6 6-7 6-4 6-3. According to gambling news, the Serbian’s win on Sunday sees him ranked above the names of amazing tennis players like Andre Agassi, Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl.

Federer was hoping for his eight Wimbledon title, however his hope was crushed by his Serbian counterpart who won his third title. The match between the two players was a replay of last year’s final where Djokovic emerged victorious over his Swiss rival. Federer’s electrifying win over his opponent in the second set tie-breaker was not enough to bring down the Serbian.

Winning his third Wimbledon, Djokovic has successfully levelled up with his coach Boris Becker by winning the cup three times. Report from mobile betting sites stated that the Serbian mentioned “Right now whenever you are winning, obviously everybody feels happy and it’s easy to say positive things.” He further added “in tough times Boris was there as was the entire team.”

Speaking about his win over Federer, Djokovic remarked “I have to say it is a big challenge playing against Roger.” According to sources from internet casinos, the back to back Wimbledon champion also added that “A lot of players of my generation have looked up to him and followed his lead.” For now, Federer can only hope to get his eighth Wimbledon title next year.
