India are one of the best Twenty20 sides in the world and, if the rumors going around the local poker room in India are to be believed, will make absolute samosa filling out of the Bangladesh side when the two clash in the tr-series of day/night games being played in Maligawatta, Colombo. That said, the same rumours said the Indian side would easily brush aside Sri Lanka and just look how that turned out. So should you really bet against Bangladesh in this game? Well….yes, yes you should.

  • Can India recover from their 5 wicket defeat against Sri Lanka?
  • Should you bet against Bangladesh after India’s performance?
  • Are the odds on India too short to make for a worthwhile wager?
  • Is Suresh Raina likely to improve on his 1 run so far in the tri-series?

The R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium will see the Indian side that is probably the second best Twenty20 side in the world at present take on Bangladesh who, it has to be said, aren’t. If you’re sat in a casino in India a bet against Bangladesh probably seems all but mandatory, the Indian side so likely to win, but you’ll not see much return on your stake unless you’re prepared to put down a whole bunch on a side that frankly performed poorly against Sri Lanka losing by a somewhat embarrassing 5 wickets.

You Should Bet Against Bangladesh Even After The Indian Defeat

With Suresh Raina out for 1 on his third ball, and the side propped up by Shikhar Dhawan getting 90, any Indian gambling laws of current form apply may be wrong. The Indian side might be favorites to win, but those odds have been siding and if you take advantage of Indian gambling laws to back India now the chances are the best you’ll get is 1/5 whilst the Bangladesh side can get a more reasonable 2/1, but that bet against Bangladesh is tempting to anyone who likes a spot of online gambling in India.
