Italian Land-based Casino Goes Online With Maltese Provider

Italian land-based casino prepares to launch a live-dealer online gambling site with the help of Maltese provider.

Casino San Remo, a renowned land-based gambling establishment, is preparing to enter the online gambling arena by offering a live-dealer casino under Italian gambling laws.

The Casino has already signed a deal with a Maltese gambling technology provider MediaLive. The software provider will ensure that land-based offerings of Casino San Remo make their way to online casinos in Italy in a smooth and fast manner.

MediaLive will offer its proprietary live-dealer technology to stream the live action at Casino San Remo at an online gambling site. The unique combination will allow both land-based players and online customers to gamble simultaneously at the same tables.

MediaLive is based on Malta, but also holds an Italian license from AAMS – the country’s gambling regulator. The live action at Casino San Remo will take place amids beautiful interior of the Casino’s floors making this live-dealer casino one of the most beautiful ones on the market.

The live-dealer streaming can also be offered to third party MediaLive licensees as stipulated in the terms and conditions of the agreement between the Casino San Remo and MediaLive.

Giuseppe Di Meco, President of Casino San Remo, had the following comments for Italy gambling news: “We have decided to offer live games from Casino di Sanremo tables as a part of our online segment relaunch strategy, which we will finalize in summer through a wider game offer”.

Sales and marketing manager of Media Live Casino, Angelo De Gobbi, had the following to add: “Up to now no real [land] Italian casino has been so far-sighted; online games were considered as competitors. Casino di Sanremo has been the first to grasp the huge potential of broadcasting the games directly from its prestigious rooms.”
