La Liga prepares for round 34 which is set to showcase exciting matchups and guarantee big money wins for punters.

During matchday 33, Barcelona successfully defended its position at the summit of La Liga against cross town rivals Espanyol. They won the match a comfortable 2-0 away from the Nou Camp, while second placed Real Madrid defeated Celta Vigo away 4-2. Overall, the weekend proved to be great funs, as punters collected some huge rewards, according to Spanish gambling news.

• Sevilla faced Eibar away
• Barcelona played Getafe at home
• Athletic Bilbao played Real Sociedad

The next round will be played over the week which only highlights the fact that the end of the season is approaching. Barcelona will once again defend its lead, this time against Getafe, while Athletic Bilbao will square off against Real Sociedad. Sevilla will travel to Eibar and Celta Vigo will face Malaga at home in what should be a great game.

Barcelona vs Getafe and Athletic Bilbao vs Real Sociedad

The Catalan giants are currently at the top of the table with an overall of 81 points from 33 outings so far this season. During that time they have found the back of the net a staggering 91 times, thanks mainly to the efforts by the powerful front three – Messi, Neymar and Suarez. They conceded only 19 goals in those games, which doesn’t spell anything good for their upcoming opponents Getafe.

The Madrid-based side 13th in the league and have experienced a tumultuous season. Over the last 5 games they recorded 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw. On their away encounters they notched only 4 wins, while the other ones resulted in 2 draws and a huge 10 losses. Bet365 therefore ranks them as compete outsiders for the match 41.00 (40/1), whereas a tie stands at 15.00 (14/1). With odds being 1.04 (0/1) for the hosts, this should be another routine win for Barcelona.

Bullfight

Athletic Bilbao will square off against Real Sociedad at 22:00 CET tomorrow. Since the Basque club will be playing in front of their own fans, they should have an added incentive to capture an all-important win for themselves. At the moment they occupy 8th spot on the table after accumulating 46 points in the process. Although their home record is not the best (7 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses), their form at San Mames has been great (4 wins and 1 draw).

That is the main reason why online sportsbooks in Spain have assigned them preferential chances 1.70 (7/10). A tie for the match has been set at 3.75 (11/4), although that event is not very likely. Real Sociedad are in 12th with 39 points and their form in recent games has been quite dire (3 draw and 2 losses). They create some chances during the encounter, however they don’t stand a realistic chance to clinch a win 5.00 (4/1).

Eibar vs Sevilla and Celta Vigo vs Malaga

Eibar and Sevilla will go head to head at 20:00 CET on Wednesday in what is looking to be an uncertain game for both sides. The hosts (Eibar) are viewed as underdogs for the match 6.00 (5/1), as they are located all the way down in 16th position on the table. Over the last 5 home games they have lost all but one encounter, which resulted in a victory.

Sevilla are strong favorites to win the clash 1.57 (4/7), thanks to their far better standing in the league and their overall performance. They sit in a comfortable 4th spot with a total of 66 points. While playing on the road they clinched an impressive 8 wins, however they also blundered quite a few times, drawing once and losing on 7 of those occasions. Judging by the results, a tie between them two is not on the cards 4.00 (3/1).

Celta Vigo will play Malaga at home on Wednesday evening as well, where they will face a rather difficult challenge against the Andalusians. The Galicians are currently in 9th spot thanks to 42 points so far this season. Fans had hoped that they could reach a slightly higher position until now, however all the clubs above them possess highly skilled players. Mobile betting providers have therefore outlined them as favorites 1.73 (8/11), while a tie stands at 3.75 (11/4).

Malaga have been deemed as the underdogs 5.00 (4/1) for this encounter since they will be the team playing away from home. At the moment they sit in 7th place with an overall of 47 points, however both their form and records away are quite bad. Over the last 5 matches they lost 4 games while being able to win only once, whereas the record stands at 5 wins, 2 draws and 9 losses. That is mobile sports betting sites don’t favor them for the win.
