Olympic Entertainment Group targets Slovakian market after acquiring the Slovakian VLT operator WINWIN Slovakia.

After taking over the Slovakian VLT casino slot operator WINWIN Slovakia, the Estonian-founded company has announced its plans to open its very first VLT casino in the country in 2014.

Even though the acquisition has made the gambling news the world over, the companies have chosen to remain discrete about the price of the transaction. However, the share value of WINWIN Slovakia has been valued at around $1.7 million.

While WINWIN Slovakia holds the license required to operate under Slovakian gambling laws, it does not operate any VLT slot casinos at the moment.

Estonian company Olympic Entertainment Group acquires WINWIN Slovakia and plans to focus on Slovakian market with new VLT slot casino

The OEG has already made its mark in a number of countries in the Baltic States and in both Eastern and Western Europe, and has in fact already opened its very first casino in Slovakia back in 2008.

“The transaction is not considered to be a transaction with related parties in the meaning of the rules and regulations of NASDAQ OMX Tallinn stock exchange and it does not have a direct effect on the economic activities of the OEG group,” commented Madis Jääger, CEO of the OEG.

“The management board and the supervisory board members of OEG are not personally interested in this transaction in any other way.”

Further plans for OEG’s penetration into the Slovakian market have not been announced to date.
