Paddy Power releases new App for iPhone to give customers offers and money-back specials, odds, results and form guide to the English Premier League.

The fight for customers in British mobile gambling continues to be intense. The latest to join is Paddy Power, who announced the launch of its Premier League iPhone App.

Land-based gambling giant Paddy Power describes the app as a tool that enables customers who like to bet on sports in UK, to be up-to-date on all of the latest English Premier League action. The Irish firm calls the app the first of its kind to on the gambling market.

The new Premier League iPhone App offers latest fixtures as well as odds, results and archives. It features news from English football and a form guide on every player in the tournament’s twenty teams.

A press release from Paddy Power reads “With the domestic leagues back in action after the international break, Paddy Power’s exclusive Premier League iPhone App keeps you bang up-to-date on what could be the most exciting season in its 20-year history.”

Paddy Power went on claiming that: “The app, exclusive for iPhone, gives you all the cold hard stats you need in one place with exclusive second-screen technology introduced to the betting market for the first time. Social media nuts such as Joey Barton will love it too as the app gives users the ability to share stats via Twitter and Facebook.”

The second-screen technology featured in the App was developed by New York-based TVTak. It allows viewers to receive odds in real-time by pointing their camera at any live football match.

The iPhone App, as allowed by the British gambling laws, also gives bettors the latest offers and money-back specials from Paddy Power.
Paddy Power’s release comes just a few days after William Hill announced the launch of its betting price alert service called the “Priority Prices”. William Hill’s service aims to notice bettors on above-average odds on sporting events.
