Paysafecard Teams Up With Ashburn for Lithuania Launch

The electronic payment provider Paysafecardjoins forces with Ashburn as it continues its expansion with the launch of its core product in Lithuania.

Lithuanian gambling laws are rather unclear since online gambling is not mentioned in the law. The country’s legislation does specify gambling can only take place on government-licensed locations, however Lithuanians still have full access to foreign sites.

The new Paysafecard launched in Lithuania will make online gambling much easier. A 16-digit Paysafecard PIN will be available to buy all over the country, in shopping centers and supermarkets.

The company has also teamed up with Ashburn, a Lithuanian company installing banking payment cards and e-commerce system solutions. The partnership will allow Paysafecards to also be distributed through the lottery network in the country.

The expansion of Paysafecard means that the electronic payment method will be present in 37 countries around the world.
